“Fade Duster - Ragged Rhythm”
A track that wastes no time in setting the tone. The opening is a massive funk In-fused intro,
throwing us straight into a groove-heavy intro that channels serious Spor vibes, tight, textured, and
dripping with attitude.

Just when you’re vibing on the funk, the track flips
the switch with a rising build that doesn't just tease,
it commands attention from earlobes worldwide.
The drop hits hard, unveiling a chaotic yet controlled
fusion of Neurofunk grit and Jump-Up swagger.
It’s an aggressive, punchy section that feels equally
suited to warehouse floors and festival systems,
pushing the energy levels through the roof.
The breakdown doesn’t let up either. Fade Duster
smartly returns to those funky motifs, rebuilding the
groove with clever edits and rhythmic flair. The
tension rises to a massive crescendo before we’re
flung headfirst into another round of filthy,
syncopated riddims.
A cheeky 4x4 switch adds a moment of surprise, momentarily blurring genre boundaries, before
slamming us back into DnB’s signature double-time flow.
"Ragged Rhythm" is a true crossover beast. Funk, filth, and fierce energy collide in a way that feels
both nostalgic and fresh.

Compilations don't get much bigger than this; across two high energy mixes we’ve brought in sterling submissions from our ever-growing roster of talent, strong highlights from the last twelve months and most importantly shiny diamond cuts to look out for in 2017. Find 20 brand new tracks from key players such as S.P.Y, Logistics and Anile, and an exclusive Metrik and Fred V & Grafix collaboration. They took time out of their busy DJing schedules to join forces on ‘Tension', encapsulating their love for euphoric dancefloor smashers.

This outstanding double disc billows at the brim with iconic D+B producers such as Noisia, Spectrasoul, Break and High Contrast as well as showcasing music from some of our most exciting new talents, including Urbandawn, Hugh Hardie, and Med School’s Whiney. It’s packed with 25 brand new and exclusive tracks from Hospital and Med School surgeons alongside some very special guest features, all carefully selected as the future drum & bass anthems of 2019. This diverse selection of 174 beats comes from the likes of London Elektricity, Fred V, S.P.Y, Metrik, Grafix, Logistics, Whiney, Unglued, Benny L, Flava D, Bou, Pete Cannon, Gridlok and many more.

After the announcement of the dynamic duo’s decision to focus on individual projects, Fred V and Grafix present their first solo releases in almost a decade. We’re deep into the UK’s third national lockdown. We’re stuck at home, we’re bored of Zoom, and let’s face it –wouldn’t we all love a couple of Guinness’ down the pub right now? Unfortunately, Born on Road can’t pour you any drinks, but what we can do is give you two pints of something heavier and darker than any Guinness you’ve ever tasted - the long-awaited Born on Road dub, ‘Couple Guinness’.

Served up by label mainstay Selecta J-Man, ‘Couple Guinness’has been doing the rounds in our sets for over a year, but now it’s time to give everyone a proper taste of its full-bodied goodness. Fierce and ferocious, ‘Couple Guinness’is a continuation of the energetic sound Selecta J-Man has been honing since bursting on to the scene in 2016 with his debut Born on Road EP ‘Cease & Sekkle’. 

As a producer continually striving to fuse his reggae influences into drum and bass, Selecta J-Man teaming up with veteran Jamaican artist Suku was a combination destined for greatness. Renowned for his work with dancehall act Ward 21, Suku’s vocals are as feel good and refreshing as someone offering to buy you your second pint at the pub.

‘Couple Guinness’ may only be SelectaJ-Man’s first D&B release of 2021, but it follows on from the producer achieving great featsin 2020 with the release of his ‘My Style’EP on Born on Road, along with his label favourite link up with DJ Gaw on ‘Rum & Lime’ (Feat. A Little Sound].

We may not be able to share a drink together at a rave right now, but hopefully ‘Couple Guinness’ will give you a taste of what we can look forward to when the good times do return.
