Amsterdam’s Easttown joins the roster of Cécille Records this April with his four-track
‘Chaos’ EP.

Dutch producer and DJ Easttown debuted in 2018 and has since gone on to release his
modern interpretation of a classic house sound via the likes of the powerhouse ElRow
Music, Franky Rizardo’s LTF Records, Folamour’s House Of Love and Amsterdam’s NEED
Music among others.Here, Easttown’s latest collection of works comes via Nick Curly and
Marc Scholl’s long running Cécille Records and sees the imprint continue to shine a light
on the rising talents of the Dutch capital, following on from EP’s by D.Stone and Rooléh.
Leading the EP is title-track ‘Chaos’, laid out across six minutes with a rolling drum
groove, swelling sub bass, an amalgamation of choppy vocal cuts and swirling filtered

synths lines. ‘Passion’follows and retains a similarly loop led aesthetic via a snaking low-
end drive and crisp drums, intertwined with ever unfurling sweeping atmospherics and

intricate synth effects.
Opening the flip-side is ‘Athletic’, veering into more disco infused House territory via a
funk tinged bass groove, orgnanic percussion, jazzy keys, cinematic strings and resonant
synth licks. ‘Circles’ then concludes the EP, laying down crunchy drums and bouncy
plucked bass notes with heavily delayed resonant stabs a hazy underlying atmospheric
tension.

Omari & Kev Christopher - Love Is Real [Front Left Recordings]

Ireland’s Andrew Azara offers up his ‘Right On Time’ EP via Cécille this May,
comprised of four original compositions.

Dublin born, now Barcelona based, Andrew Azara has been steadily unveiling his twist on soul-infused house music since 2017 with releases on a number of leading labels in the field such as elrow, ORIGINS, Politics Of Dancing, Moscow and Moan among others. Here Azara adds another notable imprint to his affiliations, joining the roster of Cécille Records, a home for music from the likes of label co-founder Nick Curly, Butch, Sidney Charles, Leon and many more.

‘Get It Up’ opens and sees Andrew offer up saturated organic drum grooves and weighty sub bass lines with an amalgamation of filtered synth licks, vocal chants, dubbed out stab sequences and tension building strings. ‘Mardigra’ follows and embraces a more classic house feel with a swinging rhythm sectionandbumpy stab led bass groove in combination with gritty stabs and intricately processed vocal cuts.

‘De Crezy’ kicks off the flip-side with a funk-infused walking bass line, dynamically evolving percussion and a subtly unfurling atmospheric tension throughout. Title-cut ‘Right On Time’ then concludes the EP, fusing skippy drums and murky sub bass swells with hazy chords, airy strings and oscillating resonant synth flutters.

We have been supporting Mikkelrev music for a while, with different releases on labels such as Oh! Records or HMWL. The Swedish producer presents 'Toulouse', his new EP consisting on 2 original tracks + 2 top-tier remixes by Menshen and Istia.

Sweden has had a particular influence in Deep House sound, delivering music with a very specific taste that combines Nu Disco influences, an overall positive feeling and complex synth work rather than a more minimalistic groove. Mikkelrev definitely shows this influences, as 'Zngr' and ' Toulouse' are two melodic tracks, with vocal samplings and uplifting harmonies that will definitely bring the perfect atmosphere to your beach club DJ sets.

On the remix duties, we are so happy to welcome Menshen (half of Monitor 66 duo), who delivers an impressive reconstruction of 'Zngr' driven by a powerful bassline surrounded by beautiful synths - one for the nu-disque lovers!

Another northern-europe producer, Istia,  remixes 'Toulouse' on his own unique way of treating laid-back grooves with relaxed guitars and saxophones - don't miss this one!
