The third release on Eastenderz offshoot BELIEF comes from rising star Julian Fijma, a Dutch producer who won plenty of plaudits for his digital-only outings in 2021 and '22. Although rooted in tech-house, all four tracks are bold, vibrant and riff-heavy, suggesting that they're peak-time, big-room anthems in the making. Fijma first opts for chunky bass, rolling drums, trancey riffs and psychedelic electronics ('Devious Dog'), before joining the dots between turn-of-the-millennium tech-house and contemporary peak-time tackle on the organ-sporting 'Shadow of Tomorrow'. Over on side B, 'Virtual Reality' makes great use of warped ass, semi-bleepy lead lines and excitable vocal samples, while 'Unresponsible Moment' is a smooth, hip-wiggling tech-house box jam with added organ stabs.

Kurilo - Yevhenii Kurylo was born in Ukraine, in Kharkiv, on 11.08.1999.
Based in Berlin now.
Since the age of 12, Yevhenii has been playing percussion instruments.
After much practice, his first purchase was a Roland SPD-SX drum sampler, which encouraged him to participate in a hip-hop project.
His passion for music quickly turned into a desire to DJ and write electronic music. During his sets, he mostly plays vinyl. But he also loves playing live performances. His collection is rapidly expanding with releases from the 90s and so on.

-How long have you been creating music?
   Exactly 1 year and 5 months ago.

What do you use to make your tracks?
This question is too broad, allow me to answer it the way I interpreted it? haha, I use creativity, passion and many other feelings.

-How and when did you discover Dirtybird?
As soon as I started attending house music parties about 5 years ago I listened to a lot of music from the Dirtybird label without even knowing it, it was only when I started to know more about the music world that I realized that I was consuming tracks from different labels, but the Dirtybird is always a good gift.

-Which Dirtybird artist would you most like to collaborate with?
Honestly, I think that's my sound with CourT.
   it would be awesome.

-If your whole life were a movie, what title would best describe it?
Success begins when fear ends.

-What was the best concert you've ever been to?
BPM Festival Costa Rica.

-If you could travel back in time, where and when would you go?
Ibiza in summer.

-What species of bird best describes you and why?
Look, I'll tell you and maybe it doesn't make sense, but at least it's funny... Today I've been considered one of the artists on the rise in Brazil, and although I don't refer to the meaning of the bird Vulture (Urubu), the public associated my name ABBUD the ABUTRE (due to the similarity between the words in the pronunciation) and it was a healthy joke between the artist and the public, there are a lot of memes here hahaha, think about it, at least it would be very funny to have a vulture on my Dirtybird release cover, who knows lol. But I identify with the "Beija-flor" is a bird that brings back good memories of my childhood.

-What does Dirtybird mean to you?
When I decided to be a musical artist in the house genre and its aspects, I made it my mission to spread my sound to as many people as possible, so rocords record labels are some of the many possibilities to do this, because that's the fact that I choose Dirtybird, by the way, is being able to have my name engraved on a label that I myself, before being able to create my beats, was already consuming.
