'Explore the 'Jacuzzi Days' EP, stemming from the fruitful collaboration between the talented German producer ICTV and the Swiss knife DimSum. These longtime accomplices, previously united on the Love Ensemble project, came together last summer in the South of France to give birth to this sun soaked Deep House workout. The A-Side features a solo production from each, starting off with 'Morning Dew' by ICTV, which carries a strong sentiment, embedded in a modern House music production.

Next on is DimSum's 'Rama to NY,' an ode to the Deep House sounds of 90s New York, adorned with a Soulful touch and Hip-Hop samples. The flip side features the collaborative tracks of this EP, a perfect blend of both of their universes. 'United Freedom Inc.,' a club-ready tune drawing influences from 90s House, sprinkled with subtle modernity and a vocal sample depicting our contemporary society. The EP closes with 'Jacuzzi Days,' an invitation to escape inspired by Italian Dream House of the golden era. Dive into the harmony between impactful beats, retro influences, and sprinkled with emotions of the 'Jacuzzi Days', inviting you to an emotional yet club ready sonic journey.' Underground hero and label boss DJ Steaw makes his Nu Groove debut with ‘Seascape EP’, a four-track odyssey of deep, soulful house. With over 12 years of experience, the revered DJ and producer is known for his arresting sets appearing on famed stages including Berlin's Tresor, London's fabric, Amsterdam's Shelter and all over his home nation of France.

As an electronic tastemaker spanning multiple genres and influences, DJ Steaw has launched House Puff Records, Steaward and Rutilance Records, the latter of which he co-founded with crate digger Gunnter. Having already received support from tastemaker Chris Stussy, this four-track package is a perfect fit for the cult NYC label. Opening with the powerful stabs of ‘Take It There’, ‘Seascape EP’ explores the producer’s signature, bass-heavy sound as well as the myriad of influences from further afield. The title track ‘Seascape’ contrasts breathy pads with bright, dynamic percussion, as ‘Close To You’ and ‘Exotica’ further demonstrate a recognisable, nostalgic aesthetic that is both club-ready and dreamlike in quality.

St Petersburg's own disco don Sunner Soul returns with three more predictably high-calibre slices of contemporary disco. The EP opens with the sumptuous, lounge-y and aptly titled 'Late Night Vibes' with its dreamy female vocal, chorus'd "oohs" and lavish strings.

'Right Place' then joins the dots between deep house, filter disco and 80s boogie in a most pleasing fashion, before finally we come to the slightly housier 'Something Good' with its rich, warm bassline and sampled chunks of interview dialogue with the mighty Tupac. What the EP doesn't have, you might argue, is any obvious peaktime calls to the dancefloor, but that's a good thing... this is for the headz!

PREMIERE: Rupert Ellis - Ghost In The Shell

Nick Curly offers up the two-track 'Come Right Back' EP via his and Marc Scholl's Cécille Records at the end of March. Mannheim, Germany's Nick Curly has been at the forefront of the underground House scene for two decades now, initially making his mark with his and Gorge's 8bit imprint which is notably known for shaping the distinctive sound of Mannheim's House Music output. Curly has since gone on to release on the likes of Knee Deep In Sound, Truesoul, Defected, Cocoon and of course Cécille where he makes a welcome return here with this new material. Title cut 'Come Right Back' leads and sees Nick lay down his signature swinging drum groove intertwined with a filtered disco loop, bumpy bass line and choppy stab sequences to create a dance floor focused six and a half minute workout. 'Arkum' then shifts into deeper and darked realms, merging organic percussion and gritty bass stabs with tension building strings and spoken word vocals chops to once again create a loop driven, subtly unfurling peak time tool.
