In a Music Production and DJ career spanning over 20 years, DJ James Ingram (Australia’s original house music pioneer) has been a former No.2 ranked DJ in Australia, written, produced and remixed multiple gold & platinum records and in 1992 helped launch Australia’s first Super Club “Heaven” as resident DJ for 7 years.

Through most major record labels he has released over 60 tracks under various monikers and collaborated with artists as diverse as Dead or Alive, Eternal, Vanessa Amorosi and Ross Wilson. Been a recurring judge for the Australian ARIA awards and received the SAMIA award for most outstanding contribution to dance music.

In 2001 he took a break from music and lived in New York and London where he established a hugely successful career in the Film and TV industry.

Now, with his own unique style of Jackin’, Disco and Old-Skool sounds, along with his 2017 comeback track “That DJ Made My Day” spending 5 weeks at No1 on Traxsource - DJ James Ingram is Back Once Again!

After a huge label launch last year with “Shame On U” reaching Top 10 on Traxsource, Top 10 in the UK Music Week Upfront Club Chart and a Top 30 ARIA Club Chart position. House Biscuits Music is ready to take on 2019 and spread the house music love.

Label boss DJ James Ingram has been chipping away on something very special with the one and only Inaya Day. The collaboration first began over a year and a half ago. Over that time, both Inaya and James have been fine-tuning this original song and it’s sound. Produced in Sydney, recorded in Atlanta, live keys and bass in Ancona, Italy and finally mastered in London.

This is a labour of love, for the love of house :)

With Inaya’s signature vocals and DJ James Ingram’s signature funky baseline combining to bring the Disco/House fire on the dance floor!

Otherside 005 takes us into filter-disco-house heaven. As with all the other mixes in this series, this is by no means a definitive collection (there's several fantastic records and artists not included here - Cassius, Fred Falke and obviously Daft Punk immediately spring to mind), rather it's meant to be a curation of some of my personal favourites that fit the feel and vibe. You'll find a mixture of old and new with more than a couple of nods to the Roulé label - legendary cuts from the likes of Thomas Bangalter, DJ Falcon & Alan Braxe all appear here plus there’s stone-cold classics from Kid Creme and Junior Jack alongside more recent funkiness provided by Rebuke, Darius Syrossian, Alex Session, Kreap, Melé, Kevin McKay and more.
