Returning to Saved Records for the first time since 2013, Berlin based soundwizard Santé delivers a quality two-track EP of subterranean, bass-driven techno.

“Ghostwriter” is a highly hypnotic, heady and underground tech cut drives with a relentless energy. Build around a stabbing bassline, pounding 4/4s and fluttering synths, the track locks into a magnetizing groove. As the track evolves, the German producer eases in some fuzzy, warm electronics and lush pads, creating a subtle interplay with the intense, druggy layers that lay beneath.

“Stay” is underpinned by a devastatingly simple yet hugely addictive rolling bassline. As the bass grumbles below, punchy beats plough forward alongside loopy FX and soulful vocals. Stripped back at times but showing a matured proclivity for shifting through the gears, the track builds tension without ever spilling over into chaos.

Now we've asked some of them to make their personal playlist picking 12 tracks from our catalogue, adding a special unreleased content and put everything in a one hour mix. This will be the new series of mixed and unmixed compilation called “Play Lapsus”.
