Kadabra has continued to express his passion for underground dance music and fantastic DJ’s through local media since his introduction into the Austin scene nearly 25 years ago. He’s hosted a public access TV show, created 2 college radio programs, and most recently the House Hookup podcast - a dj mixshow focusing on Texas locals that ran for over 150 episodes!  That's not to mention his previous work as a contributing editor and record reviewer for 5 Magazine in Chicago.

His latest project is Kickin' It with Kadabra - a monthly podcast going back to the format of a pure radio show - just playing interesting tracks across a multitude of genres, while also featuring special guest DJ selections.

Out in these streets, when Kadabra is in the DJ booth you can expect a wide variety of house music.  Funky, soulful, deep, tech, jackin....you never know! You might catch him using the occasional scratch record. Never one to sit back and relax he enjoys keeping the mix going as long as possible, cutting between tracks and using effects to create something unique in the moment.
