Sincopat is proud to introduce Althoff in a new edition of its BeenTouched series. With a fresh and refined sonic vision, the young Brazilian producer based in Barcelona makes his debut on the label with “Magnified EP”, a two-track release that stands out for its melodic sensibility and rhythmic power. The EP also features a collaboration with the Turkish talent Predex, currently based in Berlin.

The title track, “Magnified”, unveils a deep musical identity where immersive textures blend with precise and emotional grooves. Its introspective atmosphere evolves elegantly, revealing a sonic narrative that resonates with both casual listeners and demanding dancefloor crowds.

On “Stronger”, Althoff joins forces with Predex to craft a more energetic piece, where their styles intertwine to create a vibrant and intense track. MiZi MuZiK’s third chapter arrives via Lisbon-based Brazilian producer Peve and his forward-thinking strain of hypnotic Deep House. Blending ethnically charged groove structures with beautifully warped and spaced-out melodics, ‘Road’ is an eclectic tour de force of intricate drum and synth work that transports a captivating hypnotism. ‘Kassamba’ opens Road with brightly flickering saws and eerie, far-away atmospheres—tearing discharges of sinister melodics that bloom across a darkly rolling sub-structure. Stripped and ripe with mischief, Kassamba conjures a blend of darkly oscillating voodoo House: otherworldly, sinister, irresistibly danceable. ‘Marijuana’ whisks the listener on a hazy journey through revolving harmonics, crashing white-noise drums, and growling synth impacts that cut through the haze like booming circuit-bent boat horns. Vivid and psychedelic, Marijuana is a heady journey through a haze of dancefloor energies anchored by a pulverizing focal point. ‘Hipérbole’ is quintessential Peve—intricate, shuffling grooves and flanging blips engage a captivating ensemble of metallic plucks, arcing tremolo pulses, and feedback-laced impacts. Every element morphs in micro-detail, forming a powerfully raw yet refined groover with intricacies in every notch and resonance. A texturally complex and infectiously groovy masterclass in electro-acoustic dance music. Closing the EP, ‘Pulse’ strips Peve’s distinct style to its revolving core.
