"Eines Abends lernte ich dann nach einer langen Partynacht einen DJ kennen und habe ihn zu meinem Sklaven gemacht. Er musste mir dann das Auflegen beibringen und mir mein Equipment zum Üben kaufen, denn ich will besser sein als all die anderen! Damals wie heute findet man mich nun in den Clubs dieser Welt, manchmal auf dem Dancefloor und meistens hinterm Pult. Doch ich hatte das Gefühl, dass auch der härteste Techno nicht reicht, um die Dinge klarzustellen. So begann ich zu meinen Songs zu rappen und kam zu meiner Familie TBK @tbk-mafia-967067011. On H̶e̶r̶r̶e̶n̶t̶a̶g̶, the „Institut für temporäre Notwendigkeiten" will host an event that challenges harmful gender norms and celebrates inclusivity and diversity. 
H̶e̶r̶r̶e̶n̶t̶a̶g̶,  celebrated in its traditional form, reinforces patriarchal attitudes and toxic masculinity, often accompanied by heavy drinking and unruly behavior.
We think that it’s about time to create a new tradition.
The way that our event wants to disrupt the traditional concept of H̶e̶r̶r̶e̶n̶t̶a̶g̶ is by putting FLINTA* performers front and center, including musicians, DJs, and other artists. 
FLINTA* individuals face unfair challenges in the event and music business, often because of the hierarchical and patriarchal attitudes ingrained in the industry.
On May 18th, please join us in taking a strong stand against systemic discrimination while creating a space where all people feel valued and celebrated.
