Rayne is a Berlin-based DJ and producer from Turkey. As a DJ and resident of Root Radio (@rootradiolive), she has been active in Berlin's independent electronic music scene with her adventurous sets since 2020. She recently released her debut EP "Diyar", which weaves together the disparate threads of Rayne's eclectic and ever-expanding musical world. We hope you enjoy this journey into her world!

It was the closing set of Dialog (ARTLAB) in Buenos Aires. You can hear the final hour from the set, unfortunately the first part is missing due to a technical glitch.

Guest mix no. 20 is featuring multi talent Rocío Cusmano, a translator, electronic music journalist and music lover born and raised in Buenos Aires - also known as HIHATDANCER. 

With shows in iconic Buenos Aires venues like Avant Garten or Under Club and European ones like Kit Kat Club, she's also editor-in-chief of the electronic outlet Danzfloor, which focuses on the Argentinian dance scene with special emphasis on upcoming talents. 

What matters the most to HIHATDANCER during her sets is - her name says it already - the dance, based on percussion and her intuitive groove.  Her signature sound is a mixture from House to Electro with dashes of all kinds of Disco, Indie Dance, Breaks & Acid. The result is a session both futuristic and classic, where the energy on the dancefloor never stops. "It is alllllll about the dance!" :)

Set 3 // Nach der Party ist vor der Party // stressedandblessed

This set holds a special place in my heart.

It's my debut, captured at the opening gig of Synergie, hosted by the incredible Synthese crew –  being a fresh member of the association made this night extra special, especially with my friends cheering me on.

Playing in front of a live crowd for the first time felt like a surreal experience - seeing the floor fill up and feeling the crowd's energy was beyond words. I was super nervous at first, but that quickly turned into loads of fun. I had a really great time! 

The set captures the highs and lows of my four-week prep – my personal rollercoaster of emotions. It's a mix between bright and dark tones, blending positive melodic techno with a touch of darker melodies. Mixed in were some familiar edits that I bet everyone would recognize.

Excited for what's coming next and grateful for the support.

The latest addition to our podcast series comes from Freiburg local @u_urte! Doing her thing on the wheels of steel since 2011, she has been involved in putting up club nights focusing on Rap, Bass & Contemporary Club which presented artists such as @mrmitchmusic, @iglew92, @hnrk93 & DJ Heroin. In 2018 she founded EDEN, an interface between network and internet platform, which now continues as a platform for dj mixes but is still in development. For the first EDEN event, she brought over Bristolian Producer and DJ @galtier.
Her Podcast provides a deeply driving mixture of contemporary club music from all corners of the world. Starting off with classic meditative @kode9-1 vibes she later progresses through the energetic sonics of UK Funky, feverish Baile Funk, uplifting Afrobeat & the ritualistic darkness of Gqom.
