GuzBass returns on the label with another strong outing, continuing the form he has been in since the early stages of 2022. The Mozambican is a recurring name on our label and Claude VonStroke's Dirtybird imprint, a testament to his prowess as a producer.

With 'Numb' being the successor to his highly-rated debut EP on House Of Hustle, we've come to expect productions of a certain standard from Guz, and these tracks are certainly up to par. The 22-year-old knows exactly how to please the A&R team over at HOH HQ, and this shows in the number of tracks we've been trying to get off him.

This two-tracker Instantly delivers classic Brazilian Bass vibes, which, as we're sure you know by now - we are huge supporters of. The title track and its B-side 'Mombadek'' provide that fun, 'rollercoastery' (is that a word?) vibe we've loved from GuzBass' productions. We're proud to put our stamp of love on his productions again, and we're sure he'll kill it in 2023!

Cued up for the second release on the new imprint No Context is this spicy number from Kyle Watson featuring London-based South African-based artist Evida.

There's a story behind this one. Originally written as part of a separate project, Lost went through eight (yes, eight) previous versions. Rewritten so many times that Kyle apparently started humming it in his sleep, Lost is the perfect example of why you should never give up on those older projects.

Fully embracing the 'works at home as well as in the club' ethos of No Context, Lost is a crossover record anchored around an attention-grabbing fluttering synth. Tight writing and vocal delivery from Evida only elevates the record and is the icing on an already sweet cake. This one feels like an evolution in Kyle's sound, and personally we love to hear it.
