As an original creation, ‘Giving Up’ tows the line perfectly between future techno and gnarly bass music, fusing subtle reeses with catchy vocal leads from start to finish.

We are then introduced firstly to GiddiBangBang’s rethink, a low ended thumper, jam packed with bulbous bass line energy, followed by the groovy moog sweeps and eerie atmospheric melodies of Bass Odysseys overhaul, next to the more clubland-inspired euphoria of Footwurk's jive-ridden overhaul. Finally, GECHA unleashes a monster of a UK Bass remix to round things off fusing angelic synthesis with lethal bass-driven leads for a fiery finale.

A pair of smooth tempered, groove heavy club tunes that are ripe with character and round with rhythm. 

“Into the mind, I creep” boasts the vocal sample in Creeper, as the bass & beat interplay like experience and expectation. The wailing portamento raising urgency like a distant air raid siren.  Under Pressure also lifts vocal sampling into new realms with it’s vacant stanza breaking into cadence around the sub lead rhythm. Both sides of this release display an intelligent blend of groove and atmosphere in classic examples of why we treasure Double Agent as one of Medium Rare Recordings’ prime talents.
