We teamed up with A|X ARMANI EXCHANGE to bring you some of the UK’s favourite party-starters at the Sound Exchange, our event showcasing a new dimension in style and sound. Our latest event took place at Mixmag HQ on May 25 featuring two Bristol favourites.

Over this hour-long mix, Bristol's @facta showcases his shapeshifting style and spectrum of sounds - from bubbling club cuts to vocal-led pop and garage tracks. The Wisdom Teeth boss brought the energy to our latest Sound Exchange with a scope of crowd-pleasers and peak time tracks.

This event follows the stunning sunset rooftop Sound Exchange with Ash Lauryn and Danny Daze in Miami during Miami Music Week. Next up we have Aunt Acid, who is dance music's #1 Mariah Carey stan. After promoting several queer parties in the New York underground and being a longtime dancer, Aunt Acid threw a few of his own parties and eventually started his venture into the world of electronic music, making a name for himself in the NYC underground scene 🪩 

In this 70 minute mix, Aunt Acid has gifted us with a gluttononous mix of high energy chuggers, laced with acid, breaks, progressive gems, and some speed garage for good measure. This mix creates that sweaty club euphoric atmosphere that keeps ya dancin til the sun comes up 🪐

Daughters of Frank are the sister DJ/radio/production duo of Ruby and Lily London. Founders of Club Serenade, they’ve honed their smooth, sensual sound on the radio, first with a drivetime show on Balamii and more recently on their current weekly Sunday afternoon slot on Rinse FM.

Spanning the genre expanse from R&B to jungle, covering jazz, Latin. house, UK funky, garage and breaks in-between, this mix – ahead of their FM debut – leans towards what you’ll likely hear them play in the club. Blending the power trio of Usher, Lil Jon and Ludacris with the likes of Detroit’s Mr De’, South African star Black Coffee and homegrown hero Ploy, it’s a funky, bumping, soulful ride.

Keep your ears peeled too for the inclusion of a currently unreleased track from DreamrDreamr, a production alias of Ruby, coming out later in the year. Over to the sisters to tell us a lil more about the mix.
