Shabi initially grabbed our attention with his incredibly groovy debut EP, "Makes Me Smile," which dropped on Lisztomania Records just last year. Since then, he's been keeping the beats flowing, treating us to another infectious track on Sundries, and we've got an exciting new release in the works with him here at Blur Records, scheduled to drop later this year.

After falling in love with the unmistakable sound of old skool deep house and garage, Shabi embarked on an ever passionate search of sounds and records. In his sets you'll find elements of deep, funky and jazzy house combined with punchy and groovy garage sounds. 
Shabi's releases already brought him attention, with labels like Lisztomania, Sundries, Moodyhouse, Blur and more.

He then started developing his unique taste for old school deep house and disco and embarked on an ever passionate search of sounds and records. Shabi’s sets and productions embrace deep, soulful and jazzy tracks as well as punchy and groovy garage house sounds.

Housepedia Music is a Montreal-based project that was created in June 2020.

The channel's primary goal is to share and promote the underground old school roots and flavors of the original House and its subgenres. The project seeks both emerging and established producers, labels, and DJs.

Housepedia Music also features House DJs from across the world on its own podcast, Home Is Where House Is Playing, with the goal of providing a platform for DJs to share their love and vibe with the rest of the world.
