It is an honor for us to introduce our new guest MiNNt Edit aka Andrew Sprtlzd.

Andrew is a dj & producer from the city of Viña del Mar, Chile, where he runs his own record label called "Spiritualized Music" which focuses on the purity and essence of house music and its roots. 

He has signed massive artists such as Col Lawton, Alexny, Jacssen, Astre, The Stoned, Nntan, Alex Maíz, J. Fenix, Javier Labarca and has countless more on his roster.

Under the name of MiNNT Edit, his new musical project of 2020, he unleashes the seventh episode of our House category, offering with his selection some firm and frisky, but persuasive percussions, gentle atmospheric chords and emotive vibes, true to the underground sounds of House. It all bodes very well and the tunes sounds great together.

High quality sounds, impeccable and smooth transitions and perfect music selection make this mix a MUST HEAR!!

Since early childhood there has always been this one passion, music! Sischke studied music and gained experience as a professional drummer in rock, pop and jazz bands. Producing music has always been part of his musical journey. At the beginning of his 20s he discovered electronic dance music and tried out different styles and projects. Today he mainly produces house music and has already released music on such labels as CLÆP Visions, Gents & Dandy's Records, House Cookin' Records, House Salad Music, Hustler Trax and Lisztomania Records

An D. Atman, DJ, and Producer from Montevideo, Uruguay. Co-Founder of Kaizoku Beats Recordings. Starting as DJ on 2004, influenced by DJ's like Mark Farina, Dj Sneak, Derrick Carter, JT Donaldson. His passion for House Music makes him start digging on the digital stores to find the best House Music groove. On 2005 he started as a DJ on the underground Uruguayan scene. Playing at the most important clubs and festivals. Now at days, he focused on the production, also is doing a duo called StrainHouse with his brother Alex Maiz, co-founder of Kaizoku Beats Recordings, Dj and producer too. Born to the name Fiona Damme in Mielenhausen, a small village near Göttingen, Germany, it wasn’t until moving to Canada that Fiona Fossil was unearthed. This love affair started in 1996, and soon after she started to play out in Canada and the US. First just playing records and later adding a more live element by playing along with the saxophone.

BSV: Hi DJ Tchok! Are you our Santa who delivers music goodies?
DJ TCHOK: Oh oh oh, thank you! But I’m not the Santa, just forcing myself to make music for the soul :) If I have good feedback, I’m delighted. It's my prerogative.

BSV: Your mixtape contains very catchy bass lines. Do you listen to Jamiroquai frequently?
DJ TCHOK: Thank you for the reference, I love Jamiroquai. When I produce music the main ingredient after the beat is the bass line. I need the right bass to give the right mood. Thus, I clearly love tracks with catchy bass lines (unmasked, you saw my game). It's obvious to find this kind of tracks in my mixtape.

BSV: What can you tell us about your connection with Gospel music?
DJ TCHOK: Gospel music is life! It's the ultimate Music to feed our souls. I was rocked very young by this music and I definitely love it. I feel for this type of vibes and I’m happy (that's all). There is no rational explanation.

BSV: ‘Got My Attention’ track appeared in Beatport ‘WEEKEND PICKS 53’. Also it is 7th in ‘Best New Deep House: December’ chart. You played it in this tape alongside with ’No Pressure’. How long does it take to create these bangers?
DJ TCHOK: The anecdote, 'Got my attention' was produced 3 years ago and I couldn't find any serious label to release it until @delve-deeper-recordings. Otherwise, 'No Pressure' was made in one weekend. You can find my own vocal in this track :) 
To resume, there are no rules, it all depends on your creativity, a few hours or a few days.

BSV: Traxsource or Beatport type of person?
DJ TCHOK: Oh, I don't care. I prefer the best portal that allows the best promotion of my music :)

BSV: Is it hard to make music for our souls?
DJ TCHOK: No, if I make it with my soul. One day, I will find someone who appreciate it. In the true life, it's not easy to find your audience. Work is the best way!  
 
BSV: Do you have a plan on how to avoid worldwide negativity? Does music help you in that?
DJ TCHOK: A plan ... Before all, love your family and your friends. For me, producing music is a beautiful way to stay strong and be happy.

Spiritualized Heroes: B&S Concept

Guest mix from one of my buddy and long time Dj partner DJ Duggie. Great track selection, some of my all timers in there too. A message from Duggie-
When Breon told me he was doing a series of "Vinyl from the Vault" mixes I had to jump on the bandwagon and left him with no choice but to ask me to do one.  It's been a long time since I did a mix with just vinyl. I've been using CDJ's for years now with the odd vinyl record thrown in but I'd say you'd have to go back to the mid 00's.  I listened to Breon's #1 and was inspired to dig through some of my favourite records from the past 3 decades. Mixing with vinyl is so much more fun than digital so I'll  have to dust off the Technics more often.. Hope you enjoy this one. Thanks Breono!!!
