What's shakin' funky people?!  We are back with Volume 207 of the series and we are thrilled to welcome a man who has been on fire lately with numerous heater releases, hailing from Fresno, California, we welcome Jason Merle to SRS!!

Hailing from The Tower District in Fresno CA, Jason Merle has been playing records since 1997. After
moving to the Bay Area to swim with the big fish, he began to produce and play with some of the incredible
DJ’s that saturate the scene in San Francisco and eventually moved back to Fresno where he continued his
rise until 2008.
Fast forward a decade after concentrating on fatherhood and he is back at it. Producing tracks and starting his
own label 4E&A Records, he is focused and passionate about learning and improving in the studio and playing
tracks that honor the past and create visions of the future. He may be a little less intoxicated this time around,
but he is just as dizzy in love with house as he was back in the day.

Welcome back to Homemade House Series, where we are all about sharing the love for House music and it's people who make and play it for your enjoyment or inspiration. 

This week we have none other than Matthew Brian up in the mix. 

Matthew Brian gets around. His love for music can be traced back to time well spent in Tennessee, Atlanta, Kansas City, and now San Diego.
Spending years of his life working in record stores, running record labels, organizing and promoting events he was able to surround himself in the music as well as the ins and outs of the industry.
With over 20 years of Dj experience, Matt has played all over the country with the top names in underground house like Derrick Carter, Paul Johnson, Mark Farina, Luke Solomon, and Dj Sneak to name a few. His weekly event, House Music Fridays is a staple in the house community and features top notch artists from all over the world.
As a producer he's established himself on labels like Sampled Recordings Detroit, Kolour Recordings, Late Night Jackin, Jump Recordings, 1200 TRAXX, & Great Lakes Audio. Most recently Matthew has teamed up with LA veteran Ricky Doubles as the production duo Matt N Ricky and they have a slew of projects produced in Matthew's SD studio soon to be released on a number of labels like Blackcherry Recordings, and Undaground Therapy Muzik.

After that, he launched his record label 'Spiritualized Music', which focused on the best of house & downtempo music. Then he started producing and founded his sounds on a wide spectrum that goes from deep house to soulful and underground house.

The sound of Chicago with labels like Cajual and Relief and Prescription brought him the most inspiration. 
Big Pack has played in key clubs all over Mexico, opening for artists such as Kevin Saunderson, Kenny Larkin, Derrick Carter, Chez Damier, Felipe Gordon, Demuja, Guti, Brett Johnson, Phil Weeks, Wally Callerio, Andrew Emil, JT Donaldson, Oliver Dollar, 1200 Warriors, to name a few.

He is busy with several internet radio show residencies on Radio Webphre and So What Radioshow in Canada and Radio Electronica Jena in Germany and his own podcast & label, House Salad Music, featuring the best DJs in house music.

His music taste has been expanded over time by collecting vinyl from artists such as Kraftwerk, Larry Heard, Culture Beat and Josh Wink amongst others. Fast forward 11 years and he is now living in Brighton - the UK where he began to follow artists like Sasha, Deep Dish, John Digweed, Layo and Bushwacka, M.A.N.D.Y., and Gabriel Ananda. He attributes his sound to the time spent living abroad in England and Spain. Over time, he developed his skills and ear for quality tracks as he works hard at starting every show off with fresh, proper sexy sounds.  In Boston, Erlon has been exposed and grown with the developing house music scene and while continuously working on his skill set and style, he has gained the ability to read as well as lead the crowd. Make no mistake, Erlon undoubtedly transcends on the dance floor time and time again. Meshing deep, dark and chill, he can really warm up a night.Erlon has debuted at ADE at the Todd Terry & Friends ADE Special in 2017 and 2018 as well as Terminator Records Showcase at Miami Music Week this past March. He is currently actively performing as a local favorite in Boston as well as events in Miami, New York and various festivals in the East Coast. He has since been working on growing his production with releases appearing on Todd Terry’s Miami Sampler and label, SoundDesign, Boston Underground andthe newest release on Oscar G’s label, Made In Miami.

A passionate DJ & Producer, Erlon hails from the vibrant city of Belo Horizonte, Brazil. He has been based in the US for over a decade and currently resides in Brooklyn, NY. His unique blend of Brazilian percussion and Organic House sounds with a Balearic flair made him a popular Boston local opening at many of their clubs and events.
