We’re thrilled to present you to the first episode of our brand new mix series Label’s Cable, with Dave Platts, founder of Moment Cinetique, a deep-jazzy-disco-house label hailing from Sheffield, that has been releasing music since 2018.
Dave is a friend and we’re glad to host him on Label’s Cable first ever chapter with his great versatility as a DJ -playing a vast range of genres from House to Disco, Leftfield- and his deep knowledge of electronic music.

Blur Records is proud to present the debut of Irish DJ and Producer - Tree Threes - who delivers a superb 5-track EP entitled "Our House" featuring 5 remixes by the outstanding producers Henrik Villard, Henna Onna, Manuel Kane, Max Caesar & Sune.

Born & raised in Cork, Ireland, Tree Threes is known for his distinctive sound, ranging from House to Broken Beat, inspired by fellow Cork natives Fish Go Deep & the British Broken-Beat scene.

The now London-based producer, who has released a flurry of tracks and EPs on some of the most prestigious house labels on the planet, has now dropped a wonderful 5-track EP with us entitled "Our House" and as a celebration, we decided to invite close friends of the label and some of the hottest producers in the scene at the moment: the Norwegian producer Henrik Villard, Armenian wunderkind Henna Onna, the Greek prolific artist Manuel Kane, the German upcoming talent Max Caesar and the Swedish Honey Butter label boss Sune.

Tree Threes delivers a superbly well-composed EP of understated House music, with the remixers taking it to another level with their quirky and slick reinterpretations of the originals, in what promises to be one of our most successful releases so far.

The fourth release on 18437 features Nico Lahs using his NLXLB moniker. On Dirty Vision
he give us those deep, deep stabs with a proper old-school feel, a blend between Detroit and
Chicago, not too far from something by Three Chairs would make.
First up we got "Dazed Dreams", a deep and drowsy Motor City deep house jam. Next up is
Dirty Vision, a dusty High-tech Jazz cut for the after hours and finally Synthetic Wars. Nico
goes all in and delivers a gritty and intergalatic techno track

It's been a tremendous year so far for Wolf Music (@nysoul) on the release front with sublime 12's from Tone Control, Retromigration and a V/A featuring among others Medlar & Manuel Darquart.

I believe that sometimes the world moves so fast that it becomes quite difficult to keep up with the latest music. Regardless of this fact, I always find time to check out the newest bits from my latest addition to the Selected Timbres family. Hailing from Canada, Mathew Ferness is a prolific and talented producer with a strong taste for addicting grooves. With his latest release on the amazing label, Blur Records, it felt like the perfect time to include a mix from my friend in music. 

With grooves to keep your feet moving, and melodies to compliment them, I find my ears gravitating towards his sound on a regular basis. It feeds my need for that classic sound with new school skills and production quality. These reasons, among many other, made this mix a very fun one to put up! Don't forget to ask for any ID's in the comments, and thanks for listening!
