The headline track, 'This Is Wisdom,' showcases brilliance in sampling manipulation, with noodling melodies maintaining a steady groove beneath stomping drums. Jamie Moorefield's remix flips the script on the original, adding piano and string sections, transforming it into a Chicago house summertime masterpiece. 'I'm Waiting For You' is a rolling and hypnotic house jam, with a bumper that propels the low end forward in the mix, making it warehouse-ready dub.

Philippa's previous ‘Rainy Nights’ EP went down a storm on SlothBoogie Records, so of course the crew got to work with lining up another one as soon as possible.

Currently Berlin based but New Zealand born, Philippa's next EP is called ‘Port Chalmers’ which is named after the little Port Town in NZ that is close to her heart.

Wether it’s the Rhodes heavy grooves of ‘Better World’, the driving dancefloor focused 'Runaway', the beating jazzy soul of ‘Lot To Learn’ or the romantic harmonies and seagulls of ‘Port Chalmers'. Sonic Juncture’s latest release on Dealt With Records, ‘Can’t I just Be?’ represents a new era of musical growth for the artists. Encapsulating this is the titular track, an intricate departure from their usual style. ‘Magicians Secret’ has tinges of the Sonic Juncture of old but is transformed due to the duo experimenting with their sound from the Apollo 11 moon lander while on ecstasy. Collaborating with house music legend Alton Miller to remix ‘Can’t I just Be?’ isn’t just a highlight for Sonic Juncture, it’s a testament and headnod to the quality of their music.

Artist Bio:

Sonic Juncture comprises of DJ/Producer talents, George and Josh. They each initially embarked on separate musical journeys. Josh, whose rhythmic abilities were apparent from infancy as he played with pots and pans, he then matured his skills through guitar and production. Meanwhile, George refined his musical prowess through piano before immersing himself in diverse electronic genres. Their paths intersected at Falmouth University, sparking the collaborative journey that is Sonic Juncture.

George spent the last 2 years engrossed in the breaks/ garage/ electro scene of Bristol but now the duo are firmly rooted in the vibrant Brightonian music scene.

For over five years, they've been crafting their signature sound, blending melodic elements with rhythmic intricacies. Acid, breakbeat, garage, electro and euphoric house music with a chemical twinge have been a calling card of the producers.

Their creative process is often enhanced by plugins like VPS Avenger and Arturia Pigments. While hardware synths and drum machines have their charm, efficiency drives them towards VSTs and sample packs.

They embark on a new endeavour in 2024 as this year will bring the birth of their own record label Ecliptic Sound. Featuring a variety of both self releases and the works of other artists.

As fans, they revel in festivals like Dimensions and Houghton, savouring the intimate atmosphere and eclectic sounds. As DJs, you’ll find them DJing by the beach at Westival, blending genres seamlessly and igniting the dance floor field.

Their musical influences range from Bonobo, Bicep, Job Jobse, Joy Orbison, Four Tet and on and on, there isn't enough time to mention every influence but each contribute to their evolving sound.

Whether reminiscing about Bristol's breakbeat & Brighton’s garage scene or getting lost in deep house daydreams on the Welsh coast, Sonic Juncture's music is a testament to their diverse inspirations and unwavering passion for electronic music.

The guys have released on labels such as Chequered Wax, Fresh Take Records, Andras Record, NOIDEA, Remmah & now have their first release with Dealt With Records.

Italian, Ibiza-based Tuccillo delivers his new album ‘Nite Stories’ via his own House Of Tucci imprint this July, comprised of eight original compositions. 
Giuseppe Tuccillo, better known under the latter half of his name has become a widely beloved figure in the global underground over the past decade with his records for the likes of Kaoz Theory, Kwench, Nu Groove, Holic Trax and Melodeum finding their way into many a DJ’s record bag. Now though it’s back to his own imprint, House Of Tucci, marking the labels eighth release with a longer player format coming in the shape of the aptly titled ‘Nite Stories’.
Through this project Tuccillo harkens back to the golden age of House music and its deep roots which helped him fall in love with the genre in the first place, opener ‘Go Back’ perfectly sets the tone with funk infused bass and guitar licks, swinging drums and vocal chants. ‘Forget’ then lays down hazy chord and stripped drums with pitched vocals before ‘Sing For You’ explores a more jazzy territory via wandering keys, soulful vocal lines and
organic percussion. ‘Runaway’ then edges into a more jacking Chicago feel with twitchy synths, crunchy drums and hooky male vocals. ‘Push’ sees Tuccillo heading back to a sound he’s very well known for with tribal percussive loops and a bouncy bass line while ‘Outta Control’ captures the true essence of
sample heavy house. ‘Images’ then dives back into more tribal realms accompanied by dreamy atmospherics and plucked bass tones before ‘All My Luv’ concludes the project, offering up a swinging rhythm section, bright vocal chants and an amalgamation of intertwined keys, strings and bass ebbing and flowing throughout.
