Workerz is back on Feedasoul Records with a heavy three-tracker. The EP title-track brings forward driving drums, highly energetic pads laced with lively woodwind sections and rhythmically infectious breaks. On the flip side, 'Pretty little Things' keeps the flow moving with a bumping rhythm, flaring hi-hats and swanky vocal chops. Finally, 'A Place For Us' introduces movement-inducing percussion, soulful keys and feel-good vocal jabs supporting Workerz's signature rhythm. An overall cheerful vibe from this cut.

Hailing from Glasgow, Scotland, Tiptoes is a time-served DJ/Producer who has been in the game for over 15 years and has performed at a variety of venues worldwide.

As a DJ, Tiptoes plays a bit of everything – from Jazz to Jungle thru Detroit, Disco, Techno, Garage, Broken Beat, Deep House and everything in between, always finding that balance between party rocking energy and tastemaking soul.

As a producer, Tiptoes’ tracks encompass the best elements of the holy trinity – jazz, hip-hop and house. His sound has been described as “a crafted crate digger sound, dusty deep cuts full of feelgood disco energy, rhodes chords, bumpin grooves and classic rawness’’.

Filtered with finesse, subtle chord changes and an overarching jazz aesthetic, the ‘Closer EP’ lives up to its name in every intimate, confident and sensual way. Beats to wriggle and writhe to, Vincent’s years of studio craft, releasing on labels such as Spacedisco and Simma Black can be felt in each groove as he cooks with minimal ingredients to create maximum emotions. From the undulating bass rolls and bumping beats of opener ‘Like That’, to the looser limbed drums and sweet funky swing of ‘What I Do’, Vincent deals strictly in high grade material. About time we had this fella on for a full EP since we've been a huge fan of Erik Ellmann productions for a long time. Erik has become a well-known name in the underground scene with releases on SlothBoogie, Berlin House Music and also he contributed to our sampler "Loosey Goose" last year with his much appreciated track "Southern Comfort".

We heartily welcome him to our family in which he sets the tone for autumn. It's at times heavy, it's definitely house with a dash of melancholia. Simply put, the perfect EP to sum up the vibe the that Erik wants to transmit.

The famous Nu Groove is about as influential as they come when you're talking about early house music. It had its own distinctive New Yorkian twist with much material on it produced by the legendary Burrell Brothers. Here we are reminded why it is such a vital label with an EP from Acid Jerks that embodies everything that made it so: warm kick drums, musical melodies and a sense of soul that is impossible to ignore. After a smooth opener, 'Distant Power Plant' has a more raw and menacing bassline tearing up the raw drums and 'A Thousand Kisses' then leans into a serene techno vibe but still with house music as the foundation. The warm late-night chords of closer 'Organ Grinder' make it the standout.
