Another 2 hours of house and early hardcore played in the U.K during the late 80’s and very early 90’s with the emphasis being on vocals, piano and more of an uplifting vibe. This mix showcases the sound that typified what you could expect to hear from live P.A’s at raves and at the more underground clubs of the time. Yes, there are a few ‘anthems’ in there but let’s face it, we loved them at the time and I still do!

"The Shelleys residency happened when the DJ that played Thursday nights  there was getting asked to play some Acid & House. He had very little idea about it, so I got introduced to him as "the guy with this new music" via some older mates that I worked with at Creda where he used to work too. This was October 1988 and I did about 8-10 weeks before I quit. I would play an hour set, trax like Inner City - Big Fun, Royal House - Can You Party & Jolly Roger - Acid Man. I was acually DJing there on the night of my 18th Birthday (17th Nov). I then returned for a Saturday night residency in 1991 together with long term friend Daz Willott promoted by the late Pete Timmis"
