"Moments Of Extasy" is scheduled for release April 14th and, like all of Marlon's releases, will be released on his own Midnight Themes label. He is thus not only the author, producer and artist of the project, but also takes on the role of label, designer and even PR agency.

"When I write and produce music, I have a clear idea of what the artwork should look like, how I want to release the music and how I want to promote it. I just love having complete control over my music. Not only does it give me tremendous freedom, but it also allows me to be in control of my rights, not having to bend stylistically and making money from my music in the long run."

Ricky Razu is one of Belgium's new breeds of rising house producers who come from a vast background of jazz, boogie, hip-hop and disco and through the amalgamation of these various styles, he is quickly making a name for himself.

Barcelona-based DJ Gamba is up next on Stay At Home Records with two soul-infused tracks. His trancey, dreamy production evokes a primal human feeling, full of pure emotion and the hope that dreams (A1. Toi Mon Rêve) can come true through beautiful sound. The tracks radiate a bright, sunny vibe (B2. Le Soleil), as if you’re dancing on an uninhabited island, surrounded by your loved ones.

Label owner Adrien Calvet pairs the split EP with a perspective of sound that is more raw and straightforward, with heavy, groovy basslines and catchy, bouncy synths. The producer continues evolving, as the general sound of his production is more trancey than his previous projects, showing a constant evolution and eagerness to break all musical boundaries.

Legendary Italian house producer Don Carlos is to release Livin A Dream on IRMA Records in early 2020. It is a collection of previously unreleased records and reworks from his vast and vital reserves of tracks made in the nineties. Digging deep in the archives. 

Active since the seventies. Don Carlos is best known for his cult classic Alone, a dreamy Balearic anthem that still resonates to this day. As well as that he has put out plenty of seminal EPs and LPs that fuse Latin, jazz, prog, house, disco and electronic soul into superbly stylish and emotive tracks that bring people together. 

Last year he came back to the fore with the Alina single on Imogen which reminds people all over the world of his luxurious, elegant sound and so now is the perfect time to serve up some of the unheard music from his essential back catalogue. 

As such this album takes in timeless dream house, new age material, slow motion disco, piano laced anthems, deep sunset vibes and plenty of masterfully melodic cuts that have you lost in thought and willing summer time to come. There is with Tour-Maubourg an eternal desire to translate the feeling of love into music. Sometimes cheerful, sometimes melancholy, always exhilarating, the producer, native of Brussels and expatriate in Paris, has continued for 3 years to attract the praise of his peers and the support of a growing audience. The man who was described by Trax Magazine upon the release of his 1st EP as ‘‘one of the most promising producers of the French house scene’’ has revealed himself in this hyperactive new scene to become one of its best standards. 

If the producer’s first EPs were mainly focused on club music, Paradis Artificiels oscillates between the atmospheres that made the success of his previous releases and those of a studio album. Composed of both house songs and downtempo sound researches, always flirting with the jazz sounds that have made the producer’s touch recognizable, this debut album invites us on a journey in the lineage of St Germain, Massive Attack or Nicolas Jaar.

The first single "Ode To Love" taken from this LP appears as a perfect piece of acid jazz that takes the listener to a melancholic and cinematographic atmosphere, with a video directed by the independent French director Thomas Brandy.
