We start with one of the releases that we have loved since we heard it for the first time,
As you know, we love to release music that is not only for the club but that you can listen to it at any time or place.

Vincent Esclusa A.k.a Vince Void is a producer and musician from Barcelona who has a strong passion for electronic music, understands very well how to transmit this feeling with a strong italo-disco influence which are felt all over ''Make a Change''. Additionally, this EP is reminiscent of 90s House.

This EP has been entirely produced during the Covid pandemic and after suffering several personal crises, he took the adventure of achieving new purposes to improve as a person and advance in his dreams and this reflects it very clearly in the
in the composition and the message - fight for what you want and come out stronger from any perilous situation.

Make a Change, asides from being DJ music, is a spiritual retreat
for everyone who wants to be inspired to make a strong change in their life.

"For their third release, Ordinaire is proud to present a split EP between local talent El Kazed and our Colombian friend DCM.

El Kazed starts this EP with a trademark deep house track, mixing lush pads, atmospheric leads and a driving bassline. Next we have “Liquid Pulse”, a dreamy track for one of the two collaborations between our fellows.

The B side explores a more “techy” sound. For his first solo track on Ordinaire Records, DCM provides “In Effect”, a track that will satisfy all amateurs of swingy drums with spy novel ambiance throughout. “Sensual Breakdown” finishes the release with a more contemplative flavor."

PREMIERE: Rakim Under - Te Siento Dentro

Ducking and diving, bobbing and weaving, with utmost haste they charged through the maze of branches and trees that blocked their way. Slowing occasionally to jump or hop over obstacles, the only standstill came with an unplanned slip or fall, quickly rectified with a rapid scramble back on to their feet. There was no end in sight, no finish line in memory. The only option was to keep running.

R.A.N.D. Muzik Recordings is a label we're constantly keeping tabs on. The Leipzig-based imprint is responsible for sharing some of the most refined electro, house, acid and breaks around and, considering its relatively short life span, has welcomed a diverse roster of artists for solo EPs and V/As, including Kassem Mosse, Rudolf C, Mick Pointer and Lou Karsh. Next up on the release schedule is a four-tracker from Manchester-based producers Tom Jarmey and Ed Hodge, who under the moniker ‘Mother Of Pearls’ team up for a batch of driving electro and breakbeat stompers.

Hendrik Wilhelms first release saw the light of the day in 1989, when he was 16 years old. He founded Toolbox Music in Viernheim with 3 partners. All the first releases on labels like Compose Records, Generator Records, UCA, Time Unlimited, Urban, Boy Records a.o. were recorded in the Viernheim Studio. During the Nineties the studio moved to Walldorf at the Session Kulturwerk, where Hendrik Wilhelm produced more than 100 releases & remixes, plus live shows with Deaf Nuts (Stereophonie- BMG) & Studio 69 feat. Karl Frierson. One of their productions entered Hollywood, as an soundtrack for an animation-film. After the closing of Toolbox Music Hendrik Wilhelms constructed and was part of the establishment at the Anixe Studios at Musikpark Manneim.
In 2008 he moved to Switzerland, where he nowadys live with his family, and where he still produce music with a wide window view in a beautiful green landscape.

Tom Jarmey releases his debut album for Lobster Theremin sub-label Distant Horizons (formally known as Distant Hawaii) with the beautifully serene ‘Amber Glass’ LP.

On Amber Glass, Jarmey draws on influences from ambient, house, breakbeat and techno, combining dusty drum sequences on top of cosmic synth patterns and classic, warm, tape-driven production. It’s a rare treat in the post-rave, home-listening dance spectrum and showcases a knack for brooding, laid-back grooves as well as a killer melody and rhythm. Chock full of breaks, bubbling electronica, deep diving tones and emotional textures, the album is a glimpse into the work of a rising producer, but one who nonetheless sounds comfortably in their prime.

Jarmey seamlessly blends breathtaking soundscapes, luscious vocals and soaring synth hooks on this debut long play following releases for 13th Hour, Shadow City and R.A.N.D. The LP sets the tone for future excursions on Lobster from the versatile Manchester-based producer.

Long-time musical collaborator and saxophonist, Ed Hodge, joins Jarmey for a clutch of tracks on this project, with Hodge performing sax on both ‘Bees In Meadow’ and ‘Deeper Pacific’. Amber Glass features the stunning artwork of London based designer CMDP.

PREMIERE: Tom Jarmey -  Deeper Pacific (Ft. Ed Hodge) [Distant Horizons]

Most people's first encounter with Triform's 'Vinaloop' came with the sight of a clapping Christian AB alongside a grinning Ferro at A'DAM Toren with the video dominating the social media waves with cries of the usual 'Track ID???' to no success. After a few months of re-circulations, our shrugs of indifference led to the belief that this was an impossible-to-find track and would remain unknown indefinitely.

Except it wasn't an obscure, '90s limited press track from an even more obscure label, but the track 'Vinaloop', from Triform aka Scott Featherstone, which launches Desyn's new label, Faciendo. The digging renaissance has elevated interest in older music like few could've imagined, with producers like Scott, whose records from the late '90s have fetched a pretty penny on Discogs, being able to release music to the masses some two decades later thanks to one of the finest diggers in the scene, Desyn.
