3 QUESTIONS to CATZ 'N DOGZ:

Q: Let's get into your mix, into the mood. Why did you select these tracks and what did they mean to you in your early days? And of course: What do they still mean to you today?

A: Pure memories! Voitek did his selection and I did it, so we mixed everything together. We grew up in the same city in similar time so our selection was crossing very often. Anyway I know we left so much good and important music that we forgot or simply it didn’t fit. So there is a lot of tracks missing here but we were just following the flow. All those tracks brings different memories and they are still very strong. Some of them inspired us, some of them brings the best party memories and others reminds us of a childhood time.

Q: Summer is here and we're all allowed to play some nice gigs. How did you follow up things recently?

A: It’s so good to be back on the road!! We missed it so much. All the parties are sold out and people are going crazy. We play a lot in Poland right now as it’s the safest and the easiest for the promotors. So definitely the local scenes around the world are doing good. We also play in Barcelona, US tour is coming in soon and next week we go to Croatia for the Defected Festival. We are really happy to be back.

Q: Which future projects are on the way?

A: We have a lot of singles and remixes to be out soon. We just released new EP on Eats Everything's Edible label, we have remixes on Pets and Toolroom. Also new EPs on Pets, Sweatitout and right now we are working on a new album.

HOW I MET THE BASS is a concept series, founded and hosted by @marc-depulse. 

It's not about mixing the current charts - it's about your roots. A storyteller. Music from your childhood and youth that once had a big impact on your later doings, showing musicially how you got in touch with Electronic Music back in the days.

Marc tells about his project:

"Techno is a huge family. These are my experiences when I'm coming to different cities and places every weekend. Doesn't matter who you are and where you're coming from. It's about making friends and having a good time together. I have met so many interesting artists during the last 2 decades and all of them love to tell their own exciting story. So I'm inviting my favorite artists from time to time to mix their musicial roots within a podcast."
