With almost 20 years production experience and selective releases on some amazing labels like Kolour Recordings, i! 3am, Lost My Dog and Savoir Faire Musique to mention a few, the illusive Howard Sessions is always one to watch out for...when you can find him!

When he's not plying his trade as a sound engineer and producer in the house music haven of Leeds, the cave dweller from the north falls off the grid and gets intimate with his beloved collection of knobs and vinyl. With DJ support from the likes of Mark Farina, Shur I Kan, Soul Minority, Giom, Nils Nuernberg, Phil Weeks, Gerd, Johnny Fiasco and Milton Jackson in recent years. It's a real pleasure to welcome Howard Sessions to the MSR family.

Kolour Digital strikes once again with part 2 of our Kolourful You sampler series.

First up we have Huxley. Fresh off huge releases on OFF & Tsuba, Huxley laces us with a cracking deep burner here titled 'Dark Bourbon'. Deymare is up next with 'Lets Get Together' .. a lush mid-tempo tune taking aim for those relaxed, smokey lounge affairs.

Then we warm things up a little with a few more 'floor-friendly' bits by the likes of Two Deep, Howard Sessions, & Simon Weiss. Two Deep's tune titled 'Be Right' in particular has received a few spins at gigs of our own & is always met with quite an exciting response! Howard Sessions' 'Eddible Organics' & Simon Weiss 'Six Seven Jazz' round out this 'Kolourful' sampler in prime fashion. These tunes are definitely taking aim at your dancefloors - wherever they might be!

Chris Lum - Nice EP. Thanks for sending to me. Highlights for me are: Edible Organics - nice old school flavor with a modern slant. perfect to set the mood off live or for radio/podcast show. Grabbed my attention and held it throught. Six Seven Jazz - Nice use of samples and well balanced production. Sounds fun to play out loud in a small club. Dark Bourbon - Nice sample based track. Liked the elements in this.

Soul Minority - Top quality sampler from one of the best US label !! Will play those gems for sure !!! Thanks !

Lewie Day/Tornado Wallace - Huxley's dark bourbon is the track for me here. Nice loose, slow deep vibes. The organ in Edible Organics is cool too.

Shur-I-Kan - very nice ep!
