It's time to present you the full singles for two of the tracks from Anthony Mea's debut album Mea Spell which was out on Spring Tube in the end of the past year. First of them is the Talk To Me single., , Following the splendid original are the remixes by: one of our favorite artists - Addex [Plastic City, Loco, Solid Fabric, Pesto, Ready Mix, Kommunity, Apollo] who has remixed Stephen J. Kroos' Pathogenicity Of Mutations for Spring Tube Limited in 2013, and one of our label's brightest recent newcomers - Ronfoller, who has signed several great originals for Spring Tube's 'Nu Breeds' and 'Deeper Shades' latest installments in 2014.

With our 160th release we present you another one of Spring Tube's singles for the tracks from 'A Multimodal Approach To Investigate The Hallucinating Brain Of Stephen J. Kroos' album. 
After two Spring Tube Limited' singles ("Etiological" w/ Che Armstrong & Chris Johnson, Loquai remixes, and "Stax" w/ Oliver Lieb, Napalm & d-phrag remixes), and one Spring Tube's single ("Pluviophile" w/ Subsky, Phrakture remixes) here is the second and the final single on our main label for the tracks from Stephen's second double album with us.

"Numb" is one of the most freshly sounding and not typical latest works by Mr. Kroos. Now this impressive theme receives two new different interpretations. The first one is by Plastic City's resident Forteba who delivers his fourth remix work for us and which is another masterpiece for sure. Whereas the second version provides the promising talent Sure-I-Can who debuted on Spring Tube with the track for our 'Deeper Shades' series a year ago.

Following his "Hill / In Your Heart" EP on Silk Music, a collaboration with Bring Bliss, Russian producer Pavel Denisov is back with a 4-track EP, "Misterium".

The title track takes off with a deep and hypnotizing groove, later accompanied by intriguing female vocal stems. Throughout the song, numerous subtle melodic additions provide extra texture that mixes perfectly with the lush vocal effects. A rather mesmerizing atmosphere is quickly established in "Caldera", featuring a strong groove and powerful bassline notes. Light melodies and lush sound effects add an extra level of detail to the song. In "Dream Of You", we witness a soothing soundscape with an incredibly funky groove and refreshing vocal lines. Rounding out the release, "Continuum" features a hypnotic groove and dramatic sound effects, as well as evocative synth elements.

With Spring Tube's 178th release we present you next full single for the tracks from our latest sampler.

Marijan Raskovic aka Jelly For The Babies has released his music on such respectable imprints as Kontor, Stripped, Lowbit, Heavenly Bodies, Agara, Limitation, Balkan Connection, and his own The Purr among many others. Starting 2013 Marijan was also seen with two original works and two remixes on our label, and now it's time for his first personal release on Spring Tube - "Smitten".

The pack includes two excellent different remixes by some of our current favorite producers - Hernan Cerbello and Slam Duck, as well as Jelly For The Babies' great original version of course.

For our release number 27, Helly Larson from Germany is another artist who is making his debut for the label. The Natural Dreams EP is his dynamic and very strong rhythmic sound with a touch of tech and techno that we will find in his last track of the ep, Past and Future Things. The first two tracks have a more upbeat vibe with a deep house composition, while the third track Got To Be Moving is a more rhythmic base sound, a deep house one with funky line. The vocal on Natural Dreams is very warm and goes well with the bassline, while the grounded Aquatic Journey track is placing a more serious tone, allowing the entire ep to have a good deep mixture.

Hailing from Sligo, Ireland, Jay FM has been an ambassador of the chillout genre throughout this decade, with an early highlight in his discography arriving in 2012 (the wonderful "Emotion In Motion" EP). Recently, he displayed his versatile gifts as a composer by contributing the deep-progressive gem "Connected," which appeared on our "Autumn Selections 02" EP. His latest offering features four cuts, including a collaboration with singer-songwriter Andrea Willson, who adds a soulful dimension to Jay FM's already emotive sound. 

"Voices" evokes a distinctly subterranean feeling; we are awakened in a vast enclosure made up of dark, reverberating textures, as cavernous sonic droplets splash against the silence. Lively percussion lights a path, through which we are slowly guided by haunting vocal pads. Halfway into the track, we approach the buildup, which lays down lively trance keys alongside a thumping bass. Now out in the open, the track's myriad vocal cuts, textures, percussion, and echoing keys create a symphonic storm. 

In "Moonlight," a mellow soundscape blankets our senses, as we fall into the somber haze of the song's introduction. At the 30-second mark, a pulsing bass enters the arrangement, flanked by metallic jingles that evoke the precision of a machine. By the one-minute mark, Andrea Willson's sensual vocals seamlessly flow into the aural expanse. She contributes a soulful flair that manages to crack the metallic exterior, exposing reverberating strings and a bass progression that basks us in the shade of late-night reflections. 

"Destiny" maintains the chill essence of its release predecessor, "Moonlight," while deploying an intricate array of percussion that fill in the gaps. If in "Moonlight" we viewed a celestial body from the ground, now our perspective is shifted to space, where we look down at our previous selves and reflect upon life from the highest of altitudes. Gorgeous atmospheric effects dot the track, each like an individual star hanging in the infinite echo of the composition. Ethereal textures splash like waves against sharp snare hits and ultimately evaporate within a vocal crescendo, which encapsulates the song.

Stripping away the main vocals from "Moonlight," Jay FM exposes us to an atmospheric waltz. The track's subtle sway carries with it a longing for the melancholic memories of years past as well as the hopeful promise of years still left to be lived. The low-end resonance, upon which the track is built, creates a heaviness that is released with each percussive hit. The Dub Mix is an essential piece of the release, leaving us with a fully realized experience; it highlights the depth and precision of Jay FM's craft.

Isola is Ivana Carrescia, an artist and synthesist based in the Las Vegas desert. For Isola, there is music hidden in every sound around us – the howl of wind, the whirr of traffic, the blank hum of a refrigerator. Isola’s debut EP on Los Angeles's Godmode label pairs her glassy vocals and musique concrète style with minimal house and dub techno reminiscent of early Chain Reaction releases. Across all seven tracks she worked closely with Godmode co-founder Nick Sylvester, the producer behind other Godmode breakouts such as Channel Tres and Yaeji.

Oliver Schories is returning to 8Bit Records after a year -  with the Monza EP. 

Hamburg-based Oliver has been a welcome addition to the Germany house community for more than a decade now. After his latest album, Paradigm, and a collaboration with Jan Blomqvist in the summer of 2020, new original music will be out in January 2021 on Gorge’s and Nick Curly’s 8 Bit imprint.

Opening with the title track, ‘Monza’, a stab-led groove evolves organically adding nuanced layers and a rubbery bass. Warm and inviting, the piano in the first break creates a welcomed tension against the muted vocal ad libs. On the flipside, ‘Levo’ begins with more low end grunt. Melodics develop with time and form the main groove hypnotising the listener before chord sweeps and whispered vocals add warmth and musical depth.
