Fruits Of Surrender

Former Lovechild is Dallas, TX based metal founded in 2011 by Brian Simmons and Cherry Haycraft. In January 2014 they released a project demo entitled "How Evil." With the departure of Cherry Haycraft that year, Brian Simmons took over all instrumental and vocal duties.. and spent the next two years developing a unique canon of music. In the summer of 2016, he released his first official demo, entitled "Feasts Without Leaven." The demo provides a highly listenable set of heavy tracks, while pushing the boundaries of technical minimalism. This demo was quickly followed by "The Sorcerer's Revenge" released in October 2016. The main purpose of Former Lovechild's music is "to provide an artistic legacy that will triumph over death and the grave." He is building this legacy with each successive demo. At the present time, he is working on his third demo, entitled "Ship Of Fools/Back To The Dregs".. which should be completed by December of 2016..
