This was the band in which I played guitar, and wrote songs for, between 1985-88.Original line up-Nick-Vocals, Howie-Guitar, Paul-Bass, Ben-Guitar and Justin-Drums.2nd line up Nick-Vocals, Howie-Guitar, Rob-Bass and Dave-Drums.The band played it's last ever gig on my birthday, August 18th 1988.

My name's Howard Austwick, I've been lucky enough to be a professional music maker for nearly 19 years now, composing and recording music for use in TV shows, Ads, and Films etc, it's likely most people with a TV set have unwittingly heard my music at some point.I've written most of my published music for De Wolfe Music, the longest established Production/Library Music publisher in the world, and based here in the UK.
However there were many years when I was just another poor struggling musician, playing in bands, hoping to get a break, and the music I'll post here will be from that period of my musical life.
Many of the tracks were recorded on very primitive equipment, so the sound quality is pretty poor, some were even recorded using 2 cassette decks, and some straight drum machine loops recorded onto cassettes, a far cry from all the technology I'm surrounded by now!
I hope nonetheless, that you'll find the odd song here that you like enough, to forgive the audio quality, tape hiss, and some of my formative vocal attempts.I'll begin with the songs I wrote and recorded, with and for, the band Foolish Things, 1985-88, and at some point will add the music of later bands.Recently added a few tracks from a later band, Thrive, more to come later, first though I'll be adding tracks from the band between Foolish Things and Thrive, Switch.
