The band return with two distinctly different tracks that extend upon the blend of post-punk, new wave and synth-punk on their debut. Side A, Clean Current is a burst of high-energy: nervy guitars and groovy base underpinned with krautrock drums and cosmic synth noise, overlayed with delay heavy vocals. Repeats is the flipside of the coin, a moody post-punk stomper, led by gritty saw tooth synth, chorus-soaked guitar, textural percussion and soaring vocals. Lyrically Clean Current spits out retorts aimed at the engulfing nature of anxiety whilst Repeats critiques the repetition of modern life, languishing human existence.
Clean Current nods it’s head to likes of Snapper and 80s Flying Nun bands whilst Repeats owes it origins more to the progenitors of goth-rock.

Sydney AUS quartet Loose Fit are sharing their debut single "Pull The Lever." Taken from the forthcoming self-titled EP, set for release through FatCat Records on April 3, "Pull The Lever" wastes no time in marking the band's intent. A purposeful, broad-shouldered, looping bass motif is set front-and-centre against wiry guitar chuntering and scatter-gun percussion. Lead singer Anna Langdon marries charismatic, pitch- black vocals to lyrics that mix oblique imagery with emotionally powerful subject matter.

His new album "Uncommon Weather" is both an elusive portrait of San Francisco -- during one of its fluctuations as an untenable place for musicians and artists -- and also a self-portrait of a songwriter who has dispatched another treasured collection of timeless sounding DIY-pop songs. Self-recorded and mostly self-performed, the music on "Uncommon Weather" continuously reckons with the influence of The Television Personalities' Dan Treacy, as well as The Cleaners From Venus, Blueboy, East River Pipe, and the Cherry Red and Flying Nun labels. Beautiful, mysterious and rather perfect pop.
