Billie Eilish - Bittersuite [hal3 Reflection Mix]

A work in progress and the first of several remixes I'm working on based on the new Billie Eilish album. The track Bittersuite is a wild and weird track that winds its way through several passages. The first passage is amazingly beautiful. And the final passage gives off cool edm vibes when double-timed.

Their generously releasing isolated vocals is christmas for any remixer. With that said, Billie's voice is so crazy beautiful and Finneas' composition and production is so good.

2 of 2 remixes I did for cEvin Key's Patreon Remix #15. Similar to the first remix, this one has very strong influence from Download's album `Eyes of Stanley Pain`. For this remix, I rekindled various techniques I used to use heavily but haven't in years. Re-exploring those techniques allowed me to experiment and discover new ways to get some of the sounds that I've always wanted to get. There are two main lines in the remix that are directly from the stems, the first is the drum track, which I sliced and diced up a bit and then embellished with my own drum treatment. The second stem was the main ESQ pad track. That stem was used 3 different times. Once for the hats, once for the crazy glitch warp, and once for the main pad melody. 

Stems used in this song were from Song 4 which has a BPM 114. One rules was that it had to be only 1:10 in length.
