In 2019, after having spent the entire year living in a recording studio somewhere in the Cotswolds, slowly adapting to the new pace of life, Norwegian-Algerian producer Karima F took a break from walking aimlessly between the rolling hills to make an EP. Recorded in December 2019, «Fief Fef» is a succulent sandwich of Karima F’s library of musical tastes: bass, braindance, cheesy chords, UK funky, breaks, pig-squealing modular bursts, discarded ideas, idleness and sub bass-frequencies.

The latest mix in the YEAR0001 SOUNDS series features Himera with a mix of glossy new productions, idol dedications & exquisite excess.

Himera is Latvian-Irish artist Daniil Masterov, who has pushed dance music boundaries from a young age alongside a cast of collaborators, including Namasenda, Hannah Diamond, Tohji & Petal Supply.

Known for harnessing intense levels of detail in their synthetic pop productions, Himera pushes Trance to the extreme, exaggerating reality until it becomes euphoria.

This two-track EP is the crystallisation of years of collaborative experimentation between ambient/trance producer Azrel and vocalist renko. This dualistic pair of ballads explores the cycle of the night as it mirrors the recurrence of life, hoping one day for change. The pairing of delicate pianos, strings and pads with the raw euphoric power of trance leads and arpeggios creates the emotive atmosphere of the twilight as a base for renko's pained yet sanguine vocals to shine through.

Fading Earth Dual EX Final

"Tender Trance" is the long-anticipated debut EP of the production collaboration between @djgigola and @kevkoko , and marks the 5th installment of the Live From Earth Klub imprint (LFEK005). Blending heavy trance synthesizers with broken beats and driving drums, the 3-track-release focuses on different shades of modern trance sound. The EP’s leading track "Papi", adds a layer of DJ Gigola‘s own hazy vocals. "Tender Trance" will be released June 14th 2019 in digital form as well as limited edition of 300 vinyl copies.
