Belukha — the sacred peak of Altai, shining above the clouds. They call it the Heart of Siberia, the Axis of the World, the place where Earth and Sky meet. At an altitude of 4509 meters, breath turns into prayer, and every step feels like a touch of eternity. Belukha reflects the sun like a mirror of time: morning light in its snow sounds like music, and evening shadow — like silence. For centuries, pilgrims have come here seeking answers, artists — inspiration, and shamans — signs from the spirits of the mountains. This peak cannot be conquered — it can only accept.

Vol. 12 Mountain Altai VA concludes the Dub Techno Star Collection — the final ascent, where sound reaches its highest point. Nine tracks unfold like steps toward light, purification, and transcendence.

Belukha Mountain is music born from silence — and silence resonating through sound. Twelve volumes, twelve sacred places, twelve sonic legends — one journey through the spiritual geography of Altai. This is the end of the path. And at the same time — its beginning.

Segg was born in Paris, but his first vibes were actually brought to life as a result of the years he spent in Switzerland during his youth.
Whether playing the piano, the guitar or the drums, his first influences were folk melodies.

The musician then discovered electro music in Lausanne and Berlin.

Nostalgic harmonies rooted in the dynamic rhythms that transport crowds all around, from the mountains of Switzerland to the blocks of concrete of the German clubs…

Just like a photographer, Segg seamlessly blends these two extremes with his unique emotional touch.

In New York, he composed his first tracks.

Organic textures borrowed from nature, like whispers eavesdropped at the edge of a forest, lift up the pace and the beats influenced by 1990’s house music that use to rock Brooklyn’s rooftops.

Segg now lives in London where he works on new compositions.
