DJ Weed was one of the OGs that published his music in our Trance group - back when Youtube groups were a thing. It has drawn us quite some exposure. One you don't get today on Youtube.

'Oscillation' peaked my interest especially. It was a wonderful piece that I just had to work on. DJ Weed was more of a harder Trance producer. Compared to his usual stuff, this felt more laid back.

We've never talked, so I had to create everything myself, pretty sure he doesn't even know this was ever made. Tbf it didn't stay on the internet for long as I closed my starting channel, but I'm bringing this mix back today.

Hoffman - Eon (Hrglhrst Remix) [PREVIEW]

This is my... interesting... take on https://soundcloud.com/h0ffman/eon and is in no way meant to be superior nor official. It's just a project I worked on for almost two years (on and off, obviously).

Sometime in late 2021 I learned about the so called "Demoscene" via @xahoy and his review on keygen music. This scene seems composed of underground artists that express their programming skills and artistic creativity in live rendered demos run on 'pre-historic' computers and they work towards event such as https://www.youtube.com/@revisionparty to celebrate their art.

The basis for this remix in particular was a beautiful piece that in itself is perfection but I thought I'd try to work with the material and went through several iterations and styles until it turned out to be what it already was in the preview from months ago.

If this triggers interest in any of what I just wrote, it's already worth all the effort that went into this freebie.

Here's another oldie that was first published on Youtube in early 2008 and was one of a handful tracks chosen amongst our TranceLuvers group to create a remix for anyone capable of doing one and then sharing feedback on each other.

The quality of the samples used here isn't that good - even considering its insane age of 16 years - but I'm still proud of the overall production value achieved in this one. Bringing it back... freshly remastered.

Danny Kellner aka Hrglhrst is a DJ/Producer born in Germany.

The beginnings of his career reside in Metropolarea Nuremberg, where to this day he never managed nor dared to demonstrate in any of the clubs in the province, always hiding from booths with great artists of national and international stature.

He began his training as a bedroom DJ with Dance&Techno eJay in the early 2000s under the alias DJ Endymion (no, not THE Endymion from NL) & M.L.E.B., where he later continued self-studying musical production and composition with Fruity Loops Studio from 2003 onward, showcasing his work first time on Youtube in 2007 as Cultures DJ Team (later shortened to: Cultures).

As that name is impossible to google, he renamed himself one final time - hopefully - in late 2013.

He is not part of a major record label, or any actually. Yes. Such emptiness. Very sad.

His music has yet to achieve support of greater or at least similar references in the many genres he's toying with.

I'd like to thank my long extinct TranceLuvers gang, and personal heroes, especially Iceferno and Juventa for their help & support. Oh, and that Youtube dude who used my Fountain Remix as BGM in his 'Do Reptilians really exist?'-video 15 years ago! You rock!
