Our next EP release comes to you straight from the twisted mind of LA-based Sang Froyd aka Sub Par Steak aka Your Friendly Neighborhood Puppy. Coming off of an incredible year and touting the release of his debut album, a genre-bending 30 track opus entitled Turquoise Theory, Sang Froyd continues to reinvent the boundaries of dance music with a fresh and unique take on tech/bass house on the Pumpkin Spice EP. The first time we heard this EP, Sang Froyd was holding his phone to our ear in a dusty corner of a desert rave tent, but despite the unorthodox environment for screening demos, we knew immediately we had to get our paws on it!

The Pumpkin Spice EP is a fragrant fiesta of fast-paced bass riffs, satanic screeches, and ghoulish growls all laced together with demonic and detuned nursery-rhyme-esque vocals. Throughout this EP, Sang Froyd infests your brain to vicariously remind you to appreciate the pumpkin spice and everything nice.

In true Rock Bottom fashion we had to keep this one in the family by recruiting fellow Jackson Collective mainstay, Ocean Roulette for a ridiculous breaks flip of the B-Side, Unsweet Street. Flexing a first pass at this new genre, Ocean unsurprisingly blew the roof off the remix with a track that will be tearing streams down for quarantines to come!
