"Towards The Light" is the next piece in the percussive series of work being created by Sean Botha (H.S. Botha). The piece came together using a series of samples and synth sounds which creates motion and an immersive expanse for the listener. The humming sound in the piece was used to illustrate light and the percussion drives the piece towards its end. 

The inspiration for the work came from Hanz Zimmer and Ludovico Einaudi, specifically the layering effect created in the piece. The music offers a sense of resolve and hope of what is to come. In the same breath an element of the unknown can be found hidden amongst the sounds. Sean's work is expanding and taking on qualities of not only fusion and contemporary elements but also a sense of presence and mystery.
