The illustration depicts the exiled lands of Nevermore, a queer place drifting within strange expanse known as the Eversea. It is said, the landmass once existed on Earth, within Caligo, but a great war tore apart the land and erased it from our plain of existence. Monsters and sprites rule over Nevermore as glitched pockets of black obscurity pops in and out of the realm. They act like black holes, but exist for mere seconds before vanishing. Only one strange obscurity has remained constant, and it is referred to as the black sun. In this realm, nightmares roam free and creates a harsh reality for the inhabitants. However, there was a time when flowers bloomed and songs echoed against the winds. It was a period of hope, and Arunol was the light of it all.

The city seen is a piece of a much larger civilization living within a primordial Amazonian like rain forest. The trees are massive, and double the size of Redwoods. The mega-city is called "The Emerald City" and this is simply the commoner sector. Willolights dance above the city, lighting and protecting those who dwell within its alabaster walls. Those who rule this city are known as Eukarians, a species that will take a lead role in the coming events for the DoF epic.

Hi, I'm H.S. Crow, author of Lunora and the Monster King, and the upcoming comic series Stars of Glass. I created the Caligo Mythos, a eight year long recreation of our world's mythology.
