"It’s been a long time coming but it’s finally happening… Lavan makes his debut on SlothBoogie with a five track EP of superb House rhythms. The Berlin resident opens the release with ‘Tremendous’, filled with US garage referencing chords and a stellar lead organ solo. Up next is the jacking pump of ‘Gwan Nasty’ with its classy chopped vocals, deep house chords and fierce drums.

‘Can’t Tell Me Nothing’ starts off with some familiar drum patterns that quickly get beefed up to underpin the gliding organ chords and synth top lines creating a tough jam for the clubs. ‘Nonchalant’ chops in some classic vocal snippets over softer harmonies backed up by Lavan’s rough and ready drum programming and deep sub notes. ‘Heard You Was A Freak’ rounds the whole EP off with cruising deep chords, dreamy melodies, clever vocal sampling and yet more classic H.O.U.S.E basslines."

PREMIERE: Lavan - Tremendous (ft. Corsica One)

Happiness Therapy welcomes back Berlin's own Marc Brauner for his second EP on the label! A project that epitomizes summer, evoking dreams of holiday and romances that come with it. With the title track "Mon Numéro" leading the charge, the rising German producer teams up with French-German actress and vocalist Maéva and showcases once again his acclaimed signature sound: groovy, entertaining, and with a touch of charm.

The other tracks featured on the EP just keep adding beauty to the project, featuring remixes from Gavinco, HATT.D, and collabs with vocalist Tender Games and musician Steffen Heidemann !

Since 2008, the German producer Tilman has been honing his craft in House music through numerous EP’s on various respected labels and here we see him deliver his fourth long player. Taking influence from 80s NYC proto-garage and Nu Groove’s era of deep house Tilman creates a collection of works which encapsulate the essence of his sound and history with House music over the past two decades, embracing a raw yet dreamy aesthetic throughout.
Across the ten tracks Tilman employs sturdy, jacking rhythm sections, ethereal atmospherics, bumpy bass lines, shimmering chord sequences, infectious vocals and enchanting top lines culminating in somatic ecstasy.

Producer Lea Lisa recites a progressive tech elegy for the Lost Souls of the world. Indeed, it could be construed that most of us walking the earth today are walking wounded; hungry ghosts in an insatiable quest for nourishment. Following well-regarded outings on Phonica Records and Wolf Music and a superb Many Shades Of House compilation released this year, the Lausanne-based artist echoes Laurent Garnier or Joaquin Claussell with a naturalistic take on jazzy, live-intoned house and breakbeat, working with a throng of session musicians to produce this much-sought but difficult-to-nail feeling.

PREMIERE: Jess Bru - Sea To Sky(Discotecha) [Oath]

Uladzimir Patapenka is a name you might not know, but you may know that he previously worked under the LIPSKI alias. Now leaning into disco and working as Patapenka, he is a Minsk-based artist who steps out with his second solo EP and the opener 'Bisous' features a host of talented musicians adding their skills. It's a lush and rich sound with great instrumental grooves and catchy hooks. All three of the other cuts mix up different elements of disco, funk and soul to make for irresistibly feelgood and emotive listening. Another vital slab of wax from the Funkyjaws Music crew.
