Recorded on analog 8 track 1/2" worn-out tape (circa 1978). Composed with old vinyl crackles, guitars, JEN SM2007, ELKA Rhapsody 490, voice & whispering.

Different instruments/processed guitar noise were recorded directly to vintage 8-track cartridge tape.

As Close As We Can from 'REUNION' - Dusk Union Rethought: https://htdc.bandcamp.com/album/reunion

In a shattered world of washed out sounds and faded memories. Where dusks and twilights linger, and midnights stay.

We knew from the beginning we wanted to make something different than just a traditional remix compilation. 'Reunion' is more like a companion piece, a coda to 'Dusk Union'. It contains completely deconstructed and rethought pieces recorded from 'Dusk Union' sessions. We wanted to make an album that can take on different lives when played soft or played loud. It is a record that attempts to display nostalgia and the beauty in things that are worn and decayed. Most of this material was produced with overprocessed and overdriven guitars, bathed in hypnotic layers of distortion - the cover art pretty much reflects the sound on 'Reunion'. We hope you'll enjoy this rendition of 'Dusk Union' as much as we enjoyed making it.

We're living in a new weird reality. All of the days starting to blend together. Everything is unclear. Drifting between hope and utter despair. Strange times indeed... This collection of music was recorded during several sleepless nights. There was no overthinking, everything was driven by impulse. I hope you enjoy this strange little EP. Put in on your headphones, close your eyes and press play.
