This mix was recorded live at the Infamous Berlin party on 06/07/24, in a secret location. My set ran from 5:00 to 7:00 a.m., starting with hardgroove to keep the energy high. I then moved into deep techno, finishing with a touch of acid techno as the first light of dawn lit up the dancefloor.

Vorwäsche – Der Mix zum Wochenende
Das Feieroutfit ist schon rausgesucht, doch Schall und Rauch vom letzten Mal haben sind in den Fasern festgesetzt. Bevor die Hauptwäsche in einem unbekannten Keller oder beim nächsten Wachsalon OpenAir uns im regelmäßigen 4/4-Takt der Waschmaschine in Ekstase schleudert, braucht es einen kleinen Vorgeschmack, denn vor dem Schleudern kommt das Waschen. Entweder, um die Seele von der letzten Eskapade oder einer entkräftenden Woche durch kräftige Bässe der Waschtrommel läutern zu lassen oder um sich in der Trance der scheppernden und tanzenden Waschmaschine zu verlieren.
Die Vorwäsche ist der kuratierte Mix des Wachsalons zum Wochenende. Alle Künstlerinnen haben hier die Möglichkeit, sich im Strudel aus Wa(s)chmittel, Melodien und Frische zu präsentieren und die Hörerinnen sich darin zu verlieren.

Your ravefit has already been picked out, but the smoke and the memories from last time are still lingering in them. Before the rhythms of the main wash in an unknown basement or at the next Wachsalon open air are able to spin you into ecstasy, we need to cleanse our palates and to freshen up. Our Vorwäsche (pre wash) does just that. Either to let your soul be purified by the powerful bass of the washing drum or to lose yourself in the trance of the clattering, rattling, and dancing of our beloved washing machine.
Vorwäsche is Wachsalons curated mix for the weekend. All artists are given the opportunity to present themselves in the whirlpool of detergent, melodies and freshness, while our devoted listeners get to lose themselves in it.

Wachsalon Vorwäsche #1 - JSPH|

Charlie Cheppert, 27years old and based in Hamburg, is making her mark as a DJ in the techno scene. Her musical journey began at an early age, shaped by her grandfather, a passionate pianist, with whom she first explored music as a child. These formative experiences laid the foundation for Charlie’s enduring fascination with music and rhythm, a passion that continues to fuel her artistic journey today.
Charlie’s style moves within the hypnotic, deep grooves of techno. She combines an intense depth with an irresistible energy in her sets, captivating her audiences. With a strong focus on hypnotic soundscapes and dense, groovy atmospheres, she creates a unique experience that resonates both with the mind and the dance floor.
The year 2024 marked a turning point in Charlie’s career. Highlights include her performances in the iconic Kachelraum for HÖR Berlin Radio, at the Fusion Festival’s Luftschloss stage and on the main floor for DAVE Festival Dresden. Charlie also shook up Berlin’s renowned Sisyphos with her driving sets, deepening her connection with the techno scene.
In addition to her DJ sets, Charlie is also stepping into the world of music production. Her first track is already in progress - a promising collaboration set to make its debut in the music world soon. For Charlie, this marks the next step in developing her hypnotic grooves and elevating her musical vision to new heights.
