Restless was one of the first songs I felt really proud of fiddling my way through, back in like 2017/2018 when writing was brand new to me and still so confusing; you can kinda hear there’s something I wanna say, but I don’t really have the words just yet. I’ve since found for me it’s less about 'writing lyrics' more just saying how you feel - however dark it might be it’s the truth and that’s really the only thing that’s ever mattered to me.
