Deventroit is a deep and loopy groove with warm, silky bass and catchy vocal samples stitched in to bring the soul. It really gets you in a spell and then West picks up the pace with more turbulent bass and gritty percussion as well as a more edgy vocal. It adds up to a nice intense track that keeps you on your toes. 

Last of all, Arcardic is the most special of the lot, with soft synths dancing over muted tones, skeletal beats and deft piano chords. It's lithe and infectious and rounds out a fantastic EP.

Portuguese label Hubble Recordings continue with their annual delivery of tackle. As they approach their fourth release, the collection is really starting to take shape. French duo Miroloja took the controls on the last one with a deep and eery remix courtesy of Vincentiulian. Now another Trommel favourite joins the ranks, as Costin Rp steps up for the latest.

The Romanian artist has often stood out as a highlight for good reason. With each release comes another beauty, carved with a signature sound that he has made his own. We might have mentioned it before, his Trommel podcast is quite exceptional. So we’ll mention it again.
