R u d a is an experimental sound project created by Selu Herraiz and Pablo Jordán and brought into visual language by Nico Dardano, playing with abstract and absorbing light forms.

A u t o f a g i a is the concept that surrounds their music . A sound that devours itself as the human psyche devours itself to find the point of light in the center of a dark ocean.

Ruda's work stems from sound experience and landscape, bringing the sounds of nature into dance music by mixing it with resounding slow techno rhythms. A microphone picks up everything that happens in the studio during the recording process and takes it out through the nth channel of massive noise. In the creation of this album they used field recordings, electrical noise generated by DIY circuits, found cassette tapes, analog synthesizers and various homemade instruments.

Ruda is the Protection energy, it is bitter and sedative, it is abortifacient.

The EP is breaking boundaries and forming connections between ambient and timeless dub techno grooves. The EP opens with „7am“ which is an interplay of nature sounds, warm pads and breakbeats. „2pm“ is a colorful and warm journey into deep space. The EP closes with „3am“ which shows the tension between the organic warmth and uplifting energy of a dance floor track, followed by a heavy and thundery remix by the very talented Portuguese DJ and producer Robert Hoff.

He started approaching to music since 2018, after a few years spent frequenting clubs he started producing his own vision of music inspired by metallic and distorted sounds. In 2020 he started his journey in modular synthesis and never abandoned the modular road. His genre is a combine of industrial/experimental/Techno and Ebm with a slice of gritty sounds.

BRVTAL welcomes a legendary Italian producer on the fifth vinyl release!

Domenico Crisci has been releasing music for more than ten years, starting with famous labels such as L.I.E.S. and its sub-label Russian Torrent in the US, or Opal Tapes and its sub-label Black Opal in the UK, which really established his career, followed by vinyls on Semantica and Jealous God, but since 2016 he has started his own label Summa Cum Laude, where he has released Collin Stange, Sour and Lowfreq77 records next to his own music.

Born Under Another Sun is a four-song EP that has turned out to be a very unpolished, pulsating, tight and raw material, with a more stripped down sound compared to Domenico's well-known early sound. He continues to not overly overdone, operating with few sounds and eschewing all the nowadays boringly mindless, fashionable overly noisy industrial hammering. As he has done throughout his respectable full career run, on this vinyl he has managed to remain self-identical throughout and has delivered another proper techno record from his hands!
