Yet at the same time, the song calls for a return to political idealism coupled with sound fiscal ethics. Recent events in the world’s financial systems have only served to render this beautiful song, with its yearning for change even timelier. “When the Kennedys ride again” is a tough-tender anthem for a new generation searching for a genuine role in the world.
