Few of our friends have been working with us since day one so it is with great pride and emotion that we welcome our "very fantastic" friend Dachshund back on the label. The Geneva artist graces us with two originals that we simply had to feature on our Limited catalog. 

"Dream" is a nice bouncing shuffled groove with a hypnotic loopey character to it, smoothly arranged with scattered delayed vocals creating a clever yet slightly confusing "smokey" club atmosphere.

"Feel" is nothing short of a true masterpiece of electronic music. A "pizzicato" stripped-back dry beat and metallic modular sounding percussions take us on a mental and disconcerting trip. We litterally fell in love with this number - it's dark but not too dark and its insane synths and vocoders abruptly making appearances almost scared us at times: very entertaining! Perfect for the early hours of the morning, keeping the mind's attention and the hips in motion. Nothing is obvious, each role is interesting and perfectly executed. Thank you!

We often need to find the right words to describe in the best manner something or someone, most of the time because we want to impress or be polite or not too rude.
When Marc Brauner called out Bellissima we were simply blown away with the sheer quality of his music. We don't need to find words as his music has already everything that need to be said, it's groovy, wonderfully crafted, rightly spiced, with a taste of delicacy and retro at the same time. Let's say it in the most simple way, we're in love, and it feels great.

theBasement Discos presents its fourth compilation name TALKIN’
GREEN. After other successful VA EP’s (TERRAZA, HORCHATA and BEYOND PAELLA) the Valencia-based label strikes back with 9 tracks that will get everyone in a good vibe and on their feet.

Be ready to explore tracks coming from all four corners of the world. Starting with the French duo Fahy & Sanchez and their track called “Something”, a disco tune with funky electric guitar sounds, perfect for those boogie summer nights. Also from France, Wikett makes his second appearance in theBasement with Jimbo, a pure disco banger with some well-known sampling that probably will ring your bell.

Londoner Donny Rotten shows his best disco side with “Clean Up Duty”, a track with the right upbeat feel and vocals with a speedy-feel to it which makes out of this belter a real dance-floor killer.
Heading to the North American continent we can find Californian DJ and producer At Down delivering a groovy vibe with “What Goes Up, Gets Down”, combining elements of the sound of 80s cosmic disco and modern-day house.

Still on the American continent but now from New York, we have Azuro with “Get Up Larry”, and Pedro Cañas with “Excuse Me”, this time including deeper notes to its tune.
Finally, it is German artist Sam Paradise that makes his attribution to the album with “Extra Boogie Sauce”, serving some melancholic synth melodies combined with really funky guitar riffs.
We also welcome back our hometown producers Whatever Charles with his track Secrets & Spies and Kostrok with Limbo. Two Valencia originated tracks but two different moods, but both with their own homeboy signatures.
All in all, a compilation album worth listening to with an international feel.

Having firm roots in the underground scene he has picked some of his favourite club tracks for this mix to try and inject some energy into everyone’s life who is missing the dance right now.
