Berlin-based, Franco-German producer and DJ Franz Matthews, alongside well-known happiness coach Jonathan Lehmann, have crafted a thumping, hypnotic EP that combines music and the practice of guided meditation as one.

We’ve collated remixes from a spread of some of the greatest minds in electronic music today, including Aera, The Organism and Milio, to create their unique interpretations of this pioneering project of mind and music.

Franz Matthews’s original brings a complex web of interlocking percussion rhythms that develop with unfolding synths throughout the guided meditation to reach a soul-shaking climax. Transporting us on a journey through the mind with a captivating piece of musical storytelling throughout.

Aera steps up with the first remix, carving out a spacious story that casts the spotlight onto the spoken word vocals from Lehman, combining elegant rhythms with contrasting layers of subtle harmonic movement and mind-altering synth melodies that engage the inner recesses of the brain.

The Organism takes things into a more aggressive, percussive direction, using his archetypal sound to traverse across the planes of your mind. Off-kilter synth tones collide across a punchy Moog style bassline and grooving disco-tinged drum machine grooves underneath.

Finally, Milio brings his distinctive club sounds to the blend. Mixing glitching rhythms with wandering melody lines that integrate elements of minimalism and techno into a joyous and playful reworking. Milio’s distinct ability to craft memorable lines that are equally unique and quirky closes this superb remix package off with finesse.

Many Reasons previously known as MiniCoolBoyz are an Italian duo who under their various aliases have featured music on a many influential labels including Phobiq, Minus, 100%% Pure, Terminal M, Octopus Black, and their own Amazing Records.

The guys last featured on Intec in June of 2018 and are back with their fourth EP on the label, this time featuring two exceptional tracks that support why early in their career Beatport referred to these guys as Richie Hawtins Prodigies.

For this EP Many Reasons have teamed up with NØNE who makes their debut release as part of this exciting collaboration.

Track one "Taurus" has a thumping kick drum and rattling percussion with looped background textures filling the track with an intense sense of urgency. Swelling with tension, the bursts of acid cut through the shadowy atmosphere leading to the epic breakdown, which reaches its crescendo just before the hard-hitting percussion slams back in.

Second of the tracks is Equilibrium which has a frantic arpeggiator driving the momentum forwards while the fast-flowing rhythms add to its full throttle energy. Vibrant and perfect for peak time plays, this is sure to cause havoc on a dance floor with clubbers screaming for more.
