Nearly twenty years on from his last solo sortie, Tommy Gillard reemerges as Curved Needle with “Rain Of Molten Iron” - a new six-tracker scoping out the confines between hi-octane body music and FX-riddled experimentation.
After spending most of the decade working in the studio with Oliver Ho alias Broken English Club as Zov Zov, the West London-based producer reignites the flame of true-school horror electronics with five cuts heaving us into a furnace of post-apocalyptic machine talk by the scruff of the neck, complimented by a remix from Broken English Club.

For his exclusive contribution to the new Curses compiled 'Next Wave Acid Punx' album Venezuelan-born, Barcelona based DJ/producer Cardopusher turns in a heavy synth bass workout that's pummelling rhythm, orchestral stabs and heavily gated snares pitch it somewhere between Italo, EBM and early 90s Eurobeat Techno to deadly effect.

Luis Garbàn aka Cardopusher pumps out a classy EBM track powered by layered 707 drums on Escape From Reality. Impeccably engineered, the track demonstrates the Venezuelan born producers studio prowess and diverse discography.

‘Next Wave Acid Punx’ is a 38 track journey across nearly 40 years of dark club music compiled and curated by Berlin-based Musician and DJ, Luca Venezia aka Curses. Inviting friends with a like-minded affection for an 80s rooted sound, and diving deep into his record collection, Curses has put together a three CD/double vinyl set that takes us from music by Colourbox and Suicide to EBM pioneers, Front 242 through to recent club hits from Zombies in Miami, and 12 brand new, totally exclusive tracks from the likes of Shubostar, Chinaski, and Curses himself.

Exploring the darker side of club music, ‘Next Wave Acid Punx’ traces decades of a musical passion and joins the dots between the EBM, New Beat, Italo and Acid House tracks of the 1980s to present music of today.
