You could say that Paradiso Rhythm is one of the first proper Lo-Fi artists that I really took notice of. My first time I heard one of his tracks was 'Loretta' on Viennese label Step Back Trax. I was blown away by his production style, mixing all musical elements perfectly to form soulful and brilliant house cuts. We finally got talking last month and he has kindly donated the previously unreleased 'Prelude To A Kiss (Music In Me Ohh)' to the ZF collection. This is track holds no bars with a powerful groove and along with disco vocal samples, they really bring this track together.

Rhythm From label is back for a second release. The concept: to highlight electronic producers from the club scene of the same city around a single vinyl.

The very first opus presented Toulouse, city of the south of France. This time, the second release is dedicated to the Irish capital, Dublin.

On A side, you will discover two young producers very talented and who deserve to be known. Dylan Forbes to start with, and his terribly effective track on the dancefloor, followed by the more progressive track of Bernad's Son somewhere between happy melancholy and Indian summer.

On B side, make way for two figures from the Irish House scene. Quinton Campbell continues with a piece of disco sounds and classic House, then Adamant closes this vinyl with a track very effective and devastating groove.

Finally, discover Small Bear’s track (download only) as a bonus track, perfect for the dancefloor.

MATTHIEU FAUBOURG - PARALLEL LINES

Matthieu Faubourg, the upcoming French producer most known for his tune Please Stay makes his Neovinyl debut with arguably his strongest material to date. Widely considered a newcomer to follow, his name has circulated through deep house circles where he is praised for his unique approach to the sub-genre. In his signature style, Matthieu churns out three weighty cuts heavily influenced by classic deep house, jazz, and garage.

Bethnal Green kicks things off in club mode with thick sub bass chugging beneath expansive pads and jacking percussion. Both Parallel Lines and Less are also aimed at the club, but have a more relaxed feel, perfect as kindling for a dance floor fire, or for reducing one to embers. Closing things out is label co-founder Baldo, who takes an airy, almost Balearic approach to Parallel Lines with his outstanding remix.

In it’s entirety, Matthieu’s EP is a highly functional package of deep club weapons that are sure to make an impact on global dance floors.
