Digital Diamonds present D-SIDE. D-Side stands for groovy house tunes and driving techno. Influenced by German clubs from Leipzig, Dresden or Jena, he connects the different styles in his mixes to his own sound. Since 2007 he plays at the decks, since the mid of the last decade he belongs to the upcoming label "We Art Together”. Through his residency at the club Farblager, he regularly plays fans of electronic music. His big passion for that sound can be perceived in his set every time. The love for making people dance. About this mix, D-Side says: "I've been playing a lot of sets with a lot of house and deep house elements over the last few months, so to find my way back to more driving and technoid sounds in my music. This also fits much better the concept of the podcast, so I prioritised tracks that focus on vocals and vocal tracks. The mix is more melodic and progressive than the traditional sound I'm currently playing. By omitting classics of the genre from the set, I wanted to reflect the current zeitgeist. I hope the mix is successful in your eyes and ears and pleases the listeners."

It was so special to return to the main floor of UP playing a techno set on 31/12 in an animal sequence! Without a doubt my favourite main floor line up in the last 12 years that I've been part of this dream festival that never ceases to amaze me, it was incredible!!!! And this time in front of the sea... 
Thanks to several artists, to Luis M for sharing his music with me and make such great music, I'm a super fan!!!! To my brother Julian Double cheese for the track I started the set with, to Carbon for the pleasure of playing one of his favs when he was on the back stage, to Bensaid partner of Padang Records and one of the headliners of Arkana Festival this year (I played two of his tracks, one of my favs) and last but not least, the Final track, from the new label of the master Breger: Kafka Tempo ... a jewel that I thought was perfect to end this set that I will always remember with great affection. Off course, thanx to all the crowd that was dancing full power!!!
