Bio:

From his early childhood in Podgorica, Montenegro, Ognjen was fascinated by music. He enjoyed its energy and beauty and it was that which made him decide to follow a career in electronic music.
He quickly realised that he had to absorb as many different genres of music as possible and became obsessed with bands like Pink Floyd, David Bowie, Joy Division, The Doors, The Cure, Phil Collins, Sting, Simply Red, Depeche Mode, Stone Roses, Pet Shop Boys, Kraftwerk, Vangelis, Jean Michel Jarre, Mike Oldfield to name but a few.

By the beginning of the 90s, as grunge rock took over as the popular contemporary sound, AudioStorm turned his attention towards the pioneering electronic bands of the burgeoning underground dance scene and in particular the music that was coming from Goa, India. Psy Trance as it became known was for AudioStorm a diverse, forward thinking, adventurous mix of eastern and western cultures and new and older sounds. A melting pot of possibilities.
It was listening to this music which inspired him to begin to explore more progressive sounds of DJs Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Circulation, Deep Dish, Silicone Soul, Darren Emerson, John Digweed, Sasha, Pete Tong, Danny Howells, Satoshie Tomii, Sander Kleinenberg, Dave Seaman, Sven Vath, Swayzak, The Timewriter, Terry Lee Brown Jr, Terry Francis, Anthony Pappa and many other artists.

Welcome back to the wonderful world of Future Existence!! After a magical summer of good times, I am proud to present Episode 5 for 2023. This mix was inspired by hearing Joseph Ray's, Changing Lanes at high volume (of course!!) on one of many road trips through the forest world of Canada. It just had to be the opener to my next mix & set the tone for a  deep & progressive sound from start to finish. It features some daring transitions to really showcase the dramatic landscape I was drawing inspiration from!! Organic and experimental glitchy deep house and techno, with a lofi sound at times.. exploring influences from all sorts of places with much inspiration taken from early mornings on the rave dancefloor. Exploring boundaries with a homegrown sonic palette, combining field recording, modular and other stuff to see where it can go.
My main musical influence was forged in the UK at the free underground minimal raves of the early millennium and is massively influenced by the scene in London from the late 90s.. house, techno, jungle and hardcore....
