OFF puts together another brilliant release, as always destined to top the charts and showing once again the musical diversity of its evergrowing roster of talent.
 
This one comes yet again from the flourishing land of Brazil with Gabe, already an established name in the southamerican scene and with important releases in top labels who teams up with another local talent Thomaz Krauze in "Secret Place", a deep house groovy number with added r&b vocals, synth progressions and a killer breakdown, a dancefloor essential.
 
Second comes a familiar name that won't need further introduction, Stee Downes, one of the most representative voices of today's house scene gets remixed by Gabe into a slow ragga infused song that puts the magnificent vocals in motion, one that is perfect for those chilling sunsets at the beach.
 
Turning the page, Thomas Krauze puts together a funk monster with a catchy live bass riff that grows into an enormous bassline groove, this sure will get the party flowing.
 
This magnificent EP wraps up with another collaboration between this two talents, "I Dont Need You" is a true deep house masterpiece with a rolling bass, sexy female vocals, sweet rhodes licks and key solos.

Hot (Adana Twins Twistin' Bassline Remix)

Steve Bug returns with a brilliant set of killer reworks from his much-lauded 'Noir' album. 

'No Adjustments' features the vocal talents of Foremost Poets, and remains one of the standout moments on the label boss’s enigmatic long player. Where 'Noir' explored the themes of light and shade, it was always clear that 'No Adjustments' was one of the more straight up dance floor moments on there, and as such this release is definitely going to be thankfully received by DJs.

Steve Bug himself provides one growling, up-for-it rework  – a chunky floor wrecking tool that epitomises the sentiment of the vocal – drop it in and stand well back. 
Long time Poker Flat collaborator Alex Niggemann is also drawn towards the edgy, menacing vibe, constructing a sick groove that builds via a dirty, swirling synth bass and clattering hi hats. 

Arttu, the Portuguese producer making waves with his recent releases via Royal Oak / Clone, also puts his stamp on 'No Adjustments'.  Raw kicks, claps and hats fire this version along, the vocals cut up, treated and tweaked for maximum effect. The neurotic synths bubble away below the surface before breaking out spectacularly towards the track’s conclusion. A sure-fire ‘wtf?’ moment for ecstatic clubbers worldwide.  

Alessio Mereu also drops something a little special for digital customers. The Sardinian’s epic near-10 min exploration is a spacey, tripped out journey from start to finish.

Souvenir Music is proud to introduce you to its IN THE CITY #3 three part EP package which will be released in conjunction with a worldwide tour, hitting the major cities of Europe and USA from April to the end of summer 2013.

Label owners, Tiefschwarz, have hand-picked the artists who represent the breadth and variety of Souvenir’s extensive roster to join them on an the all-encompassing, pre-festival season musical adventure and compilation package. Every participating artist has given an exclusive track to the project – compiled in 3 separate parts (released on vinyl and digital) the EPs will be released throughout the duration of the tour starting on the beginning and the end of April with he final installment dropping on the middle of May.

Artists representing the label under the IN THE CITY #3 banner include some of the best musicians and DJs operating in contemporary electronic music, including Tiefschwarz, Audiofly, Chris Wood & Meat, Daniel Wilde, Daria, Kenny Leaven, Maher Daniel, Philip Bader, Re.You, Ruede Hagelstein, Sierra Sam, Special Case and Uner.

Daria - You Killed Me First (Original Mix)

Having previously unearthed and showcased plenty of new school talent like Chamboche, Bonar Bradbury and A/Jus/Ted, Under The Shade turn to two hot house properties in the form of Ben Pearce and Real Connoisseur for their next release – a split EP of one original and one remix from each artist.
You probably already know the name Ben Pearce from ‘What I Might Do’, his oddly anthemic deep-house debut that dominated club floors across the world in 2012. Here he is in similar form with ‘Just Enough’ – a dark and studiously moody house cut that brews and stews for the duration with almost hymnal pads, smooth and buried deep kick drums and just the slightest traces of classicism in the repeated male vocal
clip. Light-fingered drum fills and carefully, scale riding melodies add depth and space and this one is likely to be as big as his debut.
Remixing the track is Real Connoisseur, a 20 year old from Oxford with releases on labels like Purp & Soul already under his belt. His version stands more upright with sharp and slinky percussion bringing a deep garage vibe the track. What will most standout for clubbers, though, is the mangled and spangled bassline that ripples through the track come the mid point Floor slaying stuff for sure.
And so to his original track, ‘Nobody’s Fool’, it’s an elastic and bombastic deep house cum bass music hybrid with precise bass notes patting out the rhythm and kinetic drum hits churning in its midst. A euphoric, hands in the air vocal sample bursts through a various points as the bassline bobbles along below and the production is both rich and warm, infused with a neon glow and crafted for maximum damage, you suspect.
Pearce returns the remix favour and tweaks it into a more peak time, punchy house jam with well placed vocal snippets accentuating the kick of the drums. It’s easy to see why Pearce won so many fans early on, and this EP suggests Real Connoisseur isn’t far behind him.
