The set you put on suddenly brings you out of rhythm, but getting up to skip the track is no longer an option.

We have been scouting for the perfect sunday morning sets for quite a while already and @Mattmosphere has been a steady supplier of them for us. So we asked him and his partner Adriana to record one hour of music together, to which they like to stay in bed with.

It's an intimate ask, but they said yes and this beauty of a set is the result. 

Mattmosphere selected half the tracks and adriana aka @amapola-sounds selected the other half and sang her own beautiful lyrics ( see below), their good friend @morgen_musik recorded them and the result is something magical:

I played this mix as the aspiring young "Am Draht Collective" asked me kindly to begin the evening with some downtempo tunes, which I enjoyed a lot to do.

What a great setup. 
Many friends actually showed up, the sun really gave its best all day and the cozy location contributed to seemingly everybody having a good time. Smiling people all over the place and a dancing dove on the jog dial is what I will remember from this amazing day and party.

For this show we had the honour to have https://soundcloud.com/ali_dada live in the studio. They presented some tracks from their upcoming album "Sum" on https://soundcloud.com/ynfnd, we chatted and it was such a lovely time together. We talked in our native language, so sorry you might not understand what we are saying. But the music is cream.. :)

We have been scouting for the perfect Sunday morning sets for quite a while already and while "Eigentlich heissen wir Klaus" & "Mattmosphere" have been steady suppliers of them for us, we also developed the idea of asking befriended artists to record one-hour of music, to which they like to stay in bed with a loved one.

It's an intimate ask, but most of them said yes.

We discovered his sets at the beginning of this year and absolutely loved them, so we asked him if he would create a cuddle cast for us.

One wild festival summer later the time has come and it was well worth the wait, cause its a real beauty.

Für die Ewigwachgebliebenen zum Feierabendbier, für die Frühaufsteher als Seelenfutter zum Wochenbeginn: Montagssorbet mit Laut & Luise. Alles erlaubt, was gut tut und Gedanken kreisen lässt, nur der Name ist Programm: cremig, fluffig und ganz schön weich.

Was lange währt. Der Herr der feinen Klänge und großen Räume, staubigen Stilmittel und kratzigen Details endlich in lang und live. In Anlehnung an sein Release »A Touch of Cold Water« hat @JaschaHagen die letzten Wochen wohl genutzt und fertiggestellt was überfällig war. Live live, so richtig, als Aufnahme vom Wochenende, mit Ton aus Basel und Herz von Furikuri. Gefällt uns so wie's klingt: satt.

#085: Jascha Hagen *live - Montagssorbet mit Laut & Luise

'hmmm' is the live ambient project of myself and @harrycharles. We performed it for the first time this year - along with a DJ set - on Sunday morning at the Ambient Floor at Garbicz. 

Poetry & music written by @lemonella & @harrycharles, produced by Harry, and featuring @cesarbmusic on trombone. The lyrics in the final poem of the live set are taken from the late American folk musician, Jackson C. Frank.
